Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. During our first session, we will get to know each other and develop a plan for treatment. I will get to learn of the reasons you are seeking help and then offer my clinical judgement to assist you. You are your own expert and collaboratively we can work on your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with diverse populations: veterans, substance abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, psychosis, relational conflicts, I have found a common ground with relational turmoils and cognitive perspectives that impacts each of our lives.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I have been practicing DBT Therapy for the past 7 years. This modality is effective in teaching skills for interpersonal effectiveness, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. DBT is helpful in establishing a life worth living.

EMDR

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing is a form of psychotherapy. It was designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories such as with post-traumatic stress disorder. This is helpful in reducing the emotional intensity associated with traumatic memories.
