“Your mental health is a priority.” My name is Ana An, I am a bilingual, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion and commitment for serving and helping others achieve their goals of recovery. My goal is to create a safe setting where you feel comfortable talking about your feelings, emotions, and traumatic experiences.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we are going to create your treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with adults and children who have experienced different types of abuse for the past 11 years; it has prepared me to manage any situation in a therapeutic setting.
With over 10 years of experience supporting and providing psychotherapy to individuals, children, and families. I have helped individuals overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, adjusting to family changes, and substance abuse. I have worked with survivors and victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and rape. These events can be difficult to talk about and heal; my goal is to meet you where you are and help you overcome these traumatic events by providing you with tools that you can utilize when necessary. Additionally, I have also worked with children who are in foster care or were adopted. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we are going to create your treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I am certified in CBT and I have used it with clients for approximately 10 years.
EMDR
I use EMDR with clients who have extensive history of traumatic experiences; depression; nightmares; anxiety; and other symptoms.
Daialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, borderline personality, or difficulty regulation emotions.
Grief Therapy
I use Grief therapy with individuals who have loss and they are struggling with managing their symptoms of anger, guilt, depression, avoidance, acceptance, or shame. Additionally, I have used Grieg therapy with individuals who have loss their employment, relationships, physical health, or others.
Motivational Interviewing
I use motivational interviewing with help me build the therapeutic alliance with someone.
