Solution oriented

Hi! I’m a dual-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over eight years of experience as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse. I also hold an MBA and MSN, which help me blend clinical expertise with leadership and a holistic view of health. I work with adults across California through virtual sessions, supporting a wide range of concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, and life transitions. While I have deep roots in perinatal mental health, my care is open to all—especially those who’ve felt overlooked or misunderstood in traditional settings. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and real. I believe healing happens when people feel safe to be themselves, and I work to create a space where you can show up fully—without fear or pressure. Whether you're looking for therapy, medication support, or both, we’ll build a plan together that fits your life. I use practical, evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. I also consider the emotional, physical, and social pieces of your life that may be affecting your well-being. You don’t have to do this alone. If you’re ready to feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself again—I’m here to walk with you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in—whether it’s anxiety, depression, overwhelm, or something you can’t quite name yet. I’ll ask about your mental health history, current symptoms, and how things are showing up in your daily life. We’ll also explore physical health, sleep, stress, relationships, and anything else that might be impacting your well-being. If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or navigating a life transition, we’ll spend time understanding how that’s affecting your emotional and mental state. I offer both therapy and medication management, and we’ll talk through what feels right for you—there’s no pressure either way. This first session is a conversation, not a checklist. My goal is to understand your story, make you feel seen, and begin building a plan that feels doable, grounded, and tailored to you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a provider is my commitment to a truly holistic and nonjudgmental approach—honoring the deep connection between mind, body, and spirit in every aspect of care. With over eight years of experience as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse and a strong foundation in both physical and mental health, I’ve learned that healing looks different for everyone. I believe we all have our own unique journey, and none of us deserve to be judged for where we are on that path. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. I approach care with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed lens, working collaboratively to build care plans that align with each person’s values, goals, and lived experiences. I'm especially passionate about serving underserved communities and being a voice for those who have long felt overlooked or silenced in traditional healthcare spaces.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve adults and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, domestic violence, life transitions, or perinatal mental health challenges. My background as a high-risk labor and delivery nurse, combined with my training as a PMHNP and FNP, allows me to approach care with clinical expertise and genuine empathy. I’m especially passionate about supporting underserved communities and those who may feel unheard or unseen in traditional healthcare spaces. Whether someone is healing from emotional wounds, seeking safety and support, or working to build resilience, I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel empowered in their journey toward wellness.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into my practice to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in their lives. I use CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and mindfulness to support individuals managing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and trauma-related symptoms. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, creating a safe space where clients feel empowered to take an active role in their healing, whether through therapy, medication management, or both.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. I use mindfulness techniques such as grounding exercises, breathwork, and guided meditation to support individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions. My approach encourages clients to cultivate self-compassion and acceptance, reduce reactivity, and build healthier coping skills. Whether combined with medication management or as a standalone intervention, mindfulness practices play a key role in helping clients feel more centered, empowered, and engaged in their healing journey.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients identify their strengths and build on past successes to create practical, achievable goals. This approach focuses on what’s working well in a client’s life and encourages small, manageable steps toward positive change. In my practice, I integrate SFT techniques to empower clients to find solutions that align with their values, fostering a sense of hope, resilience, and forward momentum in their healing process.

Motivational Interviewing

As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to help clients explore their own motivations for change and build confidence in their ability to make meaningful life improvements. Through open-ended questions, reflective listening, and collaborative goal-setting, I support individuals in overcoming ambivalence, enhancing self-efficacy, and making decisions that align with their values. Whether addressing behavioral changes, mental health challenges, or medication adherence, my approach is client-centered and empowering, fostering lasting, self-directed growth.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach that centers safety, trust, and respect. I know how past experiences shape how we show up today, so I move at your pace. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported—without pressure or judgment.
