Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California. I received my Master’s from California State University in 2014 and have been providing therapy to clients of all ages, to help improve their well-being in all areas of their life. I use a holistic and collaborative approach, exploring how family, environment, and physical well-being all impact your mental health.
In our initial session, we will discuss brief introductions, and get into what brings you to therapy including specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me build an individualized treatment plan for our work together. We will also discuss your strengths, interests, and answer any questions you may have for me.
Having worked with youth and adults, and families for the past 15+ years, I’ve developed an ability to meet my clients where they are at, and assist in them finding their way to living balanced and fruitful lives.
I enjoy working with children, teens, and adults, who are facing challenges with anxiety, communication, trauma, or depression. My clients are eager to improve, but often don’t yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality.
I have found CBT to be an effective approach to supporting clients with a wide range of challenges. It includes homework so you can practice what we discuss between sessions. We identify and develop treatment goals together to help you achieve them within the time-limited (typically 12-20 sessions) schedule.
I have experience working with both children and young adults using Trauma-focused CBT. We go at a pace that feels safe for the client to uncover and process their traumatic event.
