LMFT, 4 years of experience
Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist based in Southern California. I received my MA in Marital and Family Therapy at Alliant International University, and I have been practicing therapy for the past five years. The primary topics I work on with my clients are grief, anxiety, trauma, and depression. And, I use Compassion Based, Faith Based, CBT, and Narrative therapy to guide my clients toward healing.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then talk about what is on your mind for therapy and current challenges you are facing. From there, we can build a roadmap for what to expect for the rest of our session and beyond.
My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I believe in creating space for healing, understanding, and helpful meaning-making to happen.
I enjoy serving and building relationships with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I have had the great opportunity to work with teenagers, and young and older adults.
I have been using compassion focused therapy in my practice for the past four years. My practice revolves around an attitude of compassion and understanding. In our sessions, the goal is to get you to a place of understanding yourself, the world around you, and discover the possibilities of that.

Very empathetic and understanding. Makes everything a safe space for therapy.

As much as we talk about what's effecting me, I really do appreciate the levity from all the seriousness at times. Being able to laugh and smile is a big part of my life and being able to do that with my therapist is a great feeling. I don't think I'd be able to do to therapy with someone who's stone cold and without humor.
