New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing therapy in both outpatient and hospital based settings. I work with individuals, couples and families facing anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and complex medical or emotional stressors. My background includes crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with medical, hospice and community providers. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe, respectful space where they feel heard, validated, supported and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is an opportunity to begin building trust in a comfortable, non-judgmental environment. We will work on rapport building where you will talk about what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and review relevant aspects of your personal history at a pace that feels right for you. You can expect thoughtful questions, compassionate listening, and a collaborative discussion about next steps. Together, we will begin creating a treatment plan that aligns with your needs, values, and strengths.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strength is my ability to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly heard and understood. My therapeutic approach is strength-based, trauma-focused, and client centered. I use evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Therapy is collaborative and focused on helping clients build insight, expand and develop effective coping skills and reduce distress related to mental health and relational challenges. I place a strong emphasis on self-advocacy and empowerment, supporting clients in making meaningful, sustainable changes both in and outside of therapy.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals , couples, and families who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or challenged by anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, or life transitions. They are motivated for change but may need guidance and support to move forward. They seek a safe, supportive space to better themselves and their patterns. Together, we focus on building coping skills, improving communication, strengthening resilience, and creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives and relationships.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical responses in the present moment. This approach supports slowing down automatic reactions and guides in developing healthier ways to manage stress and anxiety. Through guided mindfulness practices, clients learn skills such as grounding, emotional regulation, and self compassion. These techniques can improve resilience, focus, and overall well-being.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help identify how thoughts, feelings, and behavior are connected. Together, we explore unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to stress or emotional distress. You will learn practical strategies to challenge and reframe these thoughts. This approach helps build healthier coping skills and supports lasting change.
Couples Counseling
I work with couples to improve communication, strengthen understanding, and rebuild connection. Sessions provide a safe place for both partners to express concerns and feel heard. We identify patterns that may be creating conflict or distance in the relationship. Couples learn practical tools to resolve disagreements and build a healthier, more supportive partnership.
Strength-Based
I use Strength-Based Therapy to focus on identifying and building existing strengths, resilience, and resources. Rather than focusing only on problems, we highlight what is already working in your life. This approach helps increase confidence, motivation, and self-awareness. Together, we use your strengths to support growth, healing, and positive change.
