Hi there, I'm Liz. Feeling overwhelmed by life and searching for meaning? Are you struggling to be fully present in your relationships and other areas of your life because you're living in survival mode? Using a mindfulness approach, I help people shift away from coping mechanisms that prevent them from connecting fully to themselves and their lives. Let's work together to identify what's not working and find the balance you're looking for. We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Several therapeutic approaches are incorporated, including guided imagery and breathwork. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, Person Centered and Existential approaches, Play therapy, and hypnosis techniques.
I’m a patient and empathic person by nature, and when it comes to working with others, I will always present as my true self. I also often exude a calming presence and hope to support others to regulate better when they feel overwhelmed. I like to stay in the here and now moment to focus on what is happening in the therapeutic space and continue to practice mindfulness.
