Hello! I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with licenses in California and Florida. I earned my Master's degree from West Coast University in California. Over the past five years, I have dedicated my expertise to the mental health unit at a county hospital in Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with patients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including severe depression, anxiety, psychosis, addiction, anger management, and issues related to violence.
In our initial session, I will begin with a brief introduction to get to know you better and establish a foundation for our work together. From there, I'll encourage you to share the specific challenges and concerns you are currently facing. This information will be invaluable in allowing me to create a personalized and tailored plan to address these issues in our follow-up sessions. My approach is rooted in understanding your unique needs and circumstances, which will guide our collaborative journey towards achieving your mental health goals.
As a Therapist, I believe my greatest strengths lie in my ability to foster a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. I prioritize building a strong and trusting rapport with my clients, which I consider crucial for effective therapy. What makes me unique is my background as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, which allows me to integrate both medical and psychological perspectives into my practice. My extensive experience working in a county hospital's mental health unit in Los Angeles has equipped me to understand and address a wide range of mental health challenges, from severe depression and anxiety to addiction and anger management. This experience, combined with my passion for helping individuals on their path to recovery, enables me to be highly effective in the work I do.
My approach to patient care is characterized by compassion and a strong commitment to providing comprehensive support. I believe in not only delivering effective treatment but also in creating a foundation of trust with my patients. This involves understanding their unique backgrounds, offering a non-judgmental environment, and collaboratively building a treatment plan that resonates with their individual needs. My goal is to empower my patients on their journey to mental well-being and recovery.

I have been working at a mental health unit for LA County Hospital for 5 years. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) is the stool that I have been using the most to help my patients recognize one’s distortions in thinking and behavior. CBT not only helps them gain a better understanding of the behavior and also motivates them to face one’s fears instead of avoiding reality. Don't be afraid to get help. While you may not be able to change your current circumstances, you do have the power to improve your future. I am deeply committed to supporting you in discovering a new path forward, and I encourage you to take that important step toward a brighter future.

She has zero tolerance for my bipolar BS which is EXACTLY what I need in a provider. She’s very intelligent when it comes to explaining medications I trust this woman with my life.
