Hi! I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) based in California. I have over 12 years of experience. Having worked in the community field nursing specialty as a home visitor, I have been working with behavioral health clients for 6 years. I help adults, children, adolescents, and pregnant women/birthing persons who struggle with trauma, learning disabilities, and disconnected family relationships use their resilience and strengths to become the best version of themselves.
In our first session, we will start with brief introductions and then dive into your current challenges. This will help us create a successful tailored plan for us to work through in our follow-up sessions.
Having worked with populations that are culturally diverse and of all ages for the past twelve years, I have developed excellent listening skills. I use evidence-based methods to help you identify the root cause of your challenges. I will help you create a customized plan that will lead to measurable progress in self-empowerment and self-confidence.
I enjoy working with culturally diverse persons seeking professional mental health services. I love clients who want to be a better person for themselves and understand the importance of setting goals by prioritizing their mental health. My clients are eager to improve themselves but need the coping mechanisms and emotional tools to make these goals a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, and hopeless about their circumstances.
