I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). Since 2012, I have provided psychotherapy in numerous mental health settings. I understand that recognizing the need for support is an act of strength. I provide support by facilitating a safe space were you can feel heard from a heart-centered place, and discover new choices to address challenges. My style is conversational, collaborative, intuitive, and infused with a touch of humor.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I am very relatable and my conversational style helps my clients feel at ease. Also, I am invested in my clients well-being.
I enjoy working with clients who are seeking collaborative support to heal and create changes.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I like to use DBT to increase communications skills including conflict resolution.
EMDR
I usually like to support clients with this modality when they are challenged with trauma, and moderate to severe levels of anxiety and depression.
Mind-body approach
My approach is also holistic and I find it useful to explore and increase awareness of our mind-body-spirit connection.
