My name is Raeisha (Rae) and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I have worked in the mental health field for over seven years and love helping/supporting all who are ready to pour into themselves and release that weight. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, providing individual and group therapy. My main goal is to establish a genuine therapeutic relationship and provide individualized services to support the need.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?
I am a person-centered/solution-focused therapist who empowers clients to find solutions, expand insight and self-awareness, strengthen self-worth, and improve self-reliance while reminding them that they are the experts of their own lives. I also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist in challenging negative thinking patterns, so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them more effectively, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help work toward acceptance by managing feelings and emotions, and EMDR trained to assist in processing trauma that is negatively affecting one’s overall mental well-being.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My biggest strength is meeting my clients where they are while providing a safe space, free of judgment to discuss and process any barriers/challenges they are facing that may be preventing them from living the life they desire.
