Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Southern California. I specialize in children, adolescents, and adults. With a foundation of empathy and understanding, my approach is to help guide clients towards healing and being the best version of themselves while highlighting their individual story, values, and strengths. Together, we can explore the past that has shaped you, be grounded in the present, and create a transformative path for your future.
This first session is an opportunity to build a foundation of trust and understanding of your individual experience by exploring what brings you to therapy, past adversities, and strengths. We will collaboratively develop goals tailored to your priorities and needs in treatment, to help provide direction towards your journey to healing and growth.
My biggest strengths are creating a supportive, empathetic environment where clients feel safe to express themselves openly. I approach each person in a holistic manner by honoring your unique story and capacity for growth. I focus on making genuine, authentic connections and building a collaborative relationship where you feel heard and respected. By combining compassion with evidence-based practices, I tailor my approach to suit your unique needs, helping you create meaningful and lasting change.
I work well with clients who are open to a collaborative, compassionate process and are committed to personal growth
I provide a humanistic approach that creates a supportive and non-judgmental environment through a foundation of empathy, compassion, and authenticity. I highlight one’s unique/individual experience by exploring feelings, values, and strengths. This approach helps guide clients towards positive change by promoting self-awareness and empowerment.
DBT is an approach that focuses on four key topics: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. We will work together to foster a healthy balance between acceptance and change, in order to manage emotions, improve relationships, and build resilience in your daily life.
This modality of treatment supports children from ages 0-5 and their caregivers. CPP focuses on positive parenting strategies to strengthen the connection between caregiver and child in order to heal from trauma. I support caregivers in helping their child make sense of stressful events by talking through difficult emotions and responding to them in a healthy way. I emphasize on building a bridge between caregiver and child by developing trust, improving communication and understanding, and promoting secure attachment.
