Marie Stokey
I am a licensed mental health therapist and have been practicing for 12 years. I love working with clients of all backgrounds and I primarily see my clients through teletherapy. I have experience in working with clients from children through adult ages. I have seen clients in person and through teletherapy. I am comfortable working with a wide range of therapy goals that my clients have. I started with working for a state agency and have since grown into my own private practice. I enjoy specializing in tools to help my clients to resolve their trauma so that they can live successful lives.
First session
As an experienced therapist, I understand how difficult it can be to find resources to help those who are suffering from issues such as anxiety, depression, past trauma, abuse, forming and maintaining healthy relationships, etc. These issues can be difficult and I work on creating a collaborative relationship with my clients to help them have the tools they need to overcome some of these different roadblocks that are experienced in life.
Strengths
I love to take what I know and help my clients feel empowered with resolving the challenges they are facing. I strive to help my clients feel seen and heard during our session together and together we can then move forward to help create the life that my client is seeking.
