What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we shall have introductions. I will gather relevant information. Since it is vital to have a good therapist-client relationship, we can both determine if moving forward with therapy is appropriate. If so, we shall begin setting goals. You will be asked what you would like to accomplish while receiving therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I shall offer tools to help client work through trauma.Client shall learn how to heal while taking control of their life. Relationship / Marriage Issues - I assist clients with recognizing and improving difficulties in their relationships. This include but not limited to intimacy, parenting, communication, boundaries, value differences, jealousy). Anxiety and depression - I help clients to identify and address what is causing their anxiety and depression. I work with clients to change their meaning on situations, develop better coping and problem-solving skills. Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Let’s face it! Putting together the huge jigsaw puzzle called life can be a bit challenging. Connecting all the pieces to see the whole picture, while trying to make sense of traumatic events can leave you feeling emotionally paralyzed. Please know that you are not alone and there is hope. Reaching out is the first courageous step to activating change. I am so eager to work with those willing and ready to work through life challenges. I am also eager to work those struggling with low self esteem, negative self talk, self doubt, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, eating disorder, PYSD addictions and substance abuse. I also seek to offer support for individuals who have a history of trauma. As a therapist, I acknowledge the importance of taking a nonjudgmental stance. Meaning, that I will offer a safe place for you to explore the complexities of life, while feeling comfortable being you. I believe that self-care is essential to promoting emotional wholeness. I also believe that is important to maintain wellness in body, mind and spirit. For they all intertwined. Let me teach tools you can use to help better handle life challenges. It is my belief that we all have the power to create change, no matter the presenting issue. You are able to accomplish anything you put your mind. I’m grateful when I have the opportunity to be a part of that change. If you are ready to take control of your life, I am here to empower you to make that change while offering tools and a lot of support.
