Hello! My name is Mason, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's Degree in 2003 and have been licensed as an LCSW since 2010. I have particular experience with anxiety, mood disorders, addiction and substance abuse, couples counseling, self-esteem and personality disorders.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session I will get to know you and build a rapport. I will learn about your life experience and the challenges you face. We will identify treatment goals together and formulate a treatment plan.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I consider you the expert on your own experience and will listen actively and attentively to your story. I am caring and empathic, putting myself in your shoes. I collaborate with you to find new strategies and ideas to effect change in your life. We are a team and will work together on your goals to fulfill your values and find a better life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with people who are struggling and feeling stuck in their lives, unsure of how to effect change. I love helping people find strategies to overcome anxiety, depression, substance abuse, feeling empty and lost, problems with self-esteem and general life stress. I welcome anyone who feels like their life could be better and is willing to take a chance on therapy!

Mason allows me to verbally process my issues/concerns/worries and provides input at the right moments. He is empathetic and I feel like he "gets me". Nothing is more comforting than to feel understood.
