(she/her)
I help people gain clarity, emotional balance, and practical tools so they can move forward with more confidence and purpose. As a licensed professional clinical counselor and board-certified art therapist, I combine strong clinical training with creative approaches that help clients process emotions beyond traditional talk therapy. My style is supportive, insight-oriented, and focused on real change, helping clients reconnect with their strengths, improve mood, and manage stress. If you’re ready to understand yourself more deeply and create meaningful change in your life, I’d be honored to work with you.
Starting therapy or restarting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal in our first session is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, talking about what brings you to therapy, and exploring what you hope to gain from the process. I’ll also review important information such as confidentiality and informed consent so you understand how therapy works and can feel confident moving forward. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and create a collaborative treatment plan that supports the changes you want to make in your life. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, hopeful, and clear about the direction of our work together.
My approach is grounded in compassion, patience, and a deep respect for each person’s story. Through my work with adolescents in foster care, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people navigating addiction and recovery, I’ve developed strong skills in trauma-informed care and helping clients process complex life experiences safely and at their own pace. I’m known for being calm and steady during emotionally intense moments, creating a supportive space where clients can explore difficult feelings without fear of judgment. My experience in crisis response has strengthened my ability to help people navigate overwhelming emotions while staying focused on stability, resilience, and forward movement. Above all, I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build a life that feels meaningful, hopeful, and worth the work of healing.
I work best with motivated, thoughtful, growth-oriented adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, break old patterns, and create a life that feels more balanced and meaningful. Many of my clients are reflective people who value insight, creativity, and practical tools that help them move forward.
