Hi, I’m La’Kisha “Kisha” Jordan and I believe therapy is a healing space rooted in truth, transformation, and cultural connection. I work with teens, individuals, women, and families who are tired of just surviving and ready to start healing—for real. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, or just feeling lost in the noise of life, I hold space that is safe, soulful, and judgment-free.
My approach is eclectic and intuitive—I don’t just use one method because you’re not one-size-fits-all. I blend evidence-based techniques like CBT and DBT with creativity, storytelling, spirituality, and real talk. One session might include grounding and deep breathing; another might involve journaling, laughter, or hard truths said with love. I meet you where you are, and walk with you toward where you want to be.
I’m not just a therapist behind a desk—I’m a woman who’s lived, lost, loved, and learned. I see you. I hear you. And I believe in your ability to grow through what you go through.

Hello, I am a Clinical Psychologist with over ten years of experience helping individuals of various ages to overcome a wide range of diagnoses and mental health struggles including anxiety, depression as well as grief and trauma. I have done so in a number of settings including my own private practice, hospitals, schools and community health centers. I am grateful Growtherapy gives me the opportunity to be able to help individuals such as yourself.
My passion is creating a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where you feel seen, heard, understood, and ready to explore life's challenges. I combine my clinical experiences with a genuine, compassionate relational style to help you uncover your inner strength and move towards deeper self-awareness, healing, and empowerment. I currently hold licenses as a LPC-s in Virginia and a LPCC in Kentucky. have been working in the mental health field since 2008 and I specialize in helping clients navigate and heal from trauma. Welcome! I’m Christien Harden. Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can work through life’s challenges at your own pace. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, or identity-related concerns, my goal is to help you find clarity, healing, and balance in a way that feels right for you.
You may feel desperate, alone, and misunderstood. You feel like you are floating in the bottom of a lake and cannot see the light above you. Everyday, you feel like you are just going through the motions. If this describes you, then I may be the therapist for you. In my nearly twenty years of experience, I have helped people like you reach their potential and achieve the recovery that they needed. There is no set system or quick fix as others may promise, but I will walk down the road with you. My primary focus is on helping you deal with ambiguity. Often our thoughts and subsequently what we teach ourselves becomes rigid and fairly black and white. Using a pragmatic and authentic approach to therapy I try and help you be okay with things that are beyond your control and work with you to establish yourself as the protagonist in your own story. This is primarily accomplished through conversation and allowing you the client to guide the therapy in the direction it needs to go.
I am excited about the success my clients have accomplished. It is their discovery that is most interesting: for example, it is possible to change personality even though we have always been told it never happens! We approach this by exploring emotions that form the building blocks of personality. In this sort of work, I find that the most effective therapy happens when clients and I form a interpersonal therapeutic bond of trust. By the way, when I say that change is possible , I really believe it, and I am confident that if you are willing to work on what many would call impossible...building trust...you will leave our sessions feeling a sense of increased wholeness. (Today also marks the beginning of a new partnership with Teach America! I have loved Teach America since they began. Grow Therapy and I are offering 20 counseling sessions to Teach America members free of charge!)
HeIlo. My name is Tracey and I am pleased you are here. Just to share a little bit about myself. I am a wife and a mother. First of all, I love what I do and to witness the positive changes clients make in their lives as a result of choosing therapy to help them accomplish what they want. Often the goal is to achieve symptom relief so as to not be overwhelmed by anxiety, mood disorders or be better able to manage the challenges of ADHD. Sometimes there is not a specific outcome identified but a need for ongoing support for dealing with life transitions or difficult people. Sometimes clients use therapy as a confidential sounding board where they can talk to an objective outsider about situations and sort out their perspective. I offer various ways to see and respond to situations that might otherwise not be considered. Your opinion as a client is the most important one and I will also honestly provide mine when asked for. I believe therapy can actually be something that you can look forward to and an opportunity to learn new skills to use long after you discontinue, and we can even have some fun and laughs along the journey.

I graduated from the University of Gdansk, Poland (B.A. Psychology), and obtained a Master's in professional counseling from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. I am licensed to provide professional counseling independently in Arizona, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Texas. I have experience working with individuals from various backgrounds and providing therapy in English and Spanish. Treatment is about finding hope despite the circumstances. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who treats children (ages Zero+), teens, and adults.
Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I love to utilize CBT, CPT, trauma informed care (TIC) and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.
I utilize a positive theoretical orientation which assumes that all individuals possess an innate desire for well-balanced emotional/mental health. I believe a person enters therapy with a strong wish, whether conscious or unconscious, to overcome obstacles and free themselves from constraints that are holding them back. I find that everyone needs a slightly different approach to accomplish these goals, so I adjust in technique for each specific challenge. I truly enjoy the experience of guiding my clients through this process and consider it a privilege to play such an important role in a person's life.
“Crying does not indicate that you are weak. Since birth, it has always been a sign that you are alive.”

Hi there! I’m a licensed therapist in Virginia with three years of professional experience and I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges. I am an African American woman with over 15 years of experience in the mental health field and more than 6 years providing outpatient therapy in the state of Virginia. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2018. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in serving individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, with a strong commitment to culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate care.
My work centers on supporting individuals who struggle with identity, self-worth, and negative or distorted beliefs about themselves. Many of the clients I serve feel disconnected from who they are, shaped by past trauma, life transitions, systemic barriers, or repeated experiences of disappointment and loss. I help clients explore these experiences, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop a healthier, more authentic sense of self.
Through a strength-based, client-centered, and evidence-informed approach, I work collaboratively with clients to uncover their inner resilience, increase self-awareness, and build emotional insight. Therapy is a space where clients are encouraged to show up fully—without judgment—while learning practical tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, and make empowered decisions aligned with their values and goals.
As a clinician, I believe healing is not only about symptom reduction, but also about reclaiming identity, restoring confidence, and learning how to live with intention and purpose. My goal is to create a safe, affirming environment where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they move toward growth, clarity, and long-term emotional wellness.
