If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or emotionally exhausted, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. You may know you need support but feel unsure of what to say or where to begin. That’s okay. Therapy is a place where you can start exactly where you are. I work with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Healing doesn’t require perfection—it requires honesty, patience, and compassion. People and their stories have always deeply mattered to me. From an early age, I felt drawn to listening and understanding others, which naturally led me into this work. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I strongly believe that progress is still progress, no matter how small, and every step forward deserves to be acknowledged. I am a Licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas. Clients often describe me as empathetic, patient, and kind. I strive to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at a pace that feels right for you. You are the expert of your life—my role is to support, guide, and empower you. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns, building coping skills, and creating meaningful change. Therapy is a collaborative process, and together we will work toward clarity, healing, and growth. As C.S. Lewis said, “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.” Your experiences are valid, your feelings matter, and your story deserves care. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.l

My name is Noe Rios and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I received my Masters in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling with a focus on mental health, and have been practicing 9 years with combined experience in mental health and substance use problems. My therapeutic style is direct and pragmatic, a blend of CBT and solution-focused work – it emphasizes building insight into how life circumstances may be contributing to the way that you’re feeling, taking a practical approach to solving problems, and exploring alternate perspectives that may be more helpful. I believe faith can also play a significant role in healing and moving forward, but I leave this to the discretion of the client.

Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I spent years specializing in trauma-focused therapy and have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. This year I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR to more of a person-centered approach addressing men’s issues, as well as working mainly with with First Responders, Veterans, Active Duty personnel as well as couples. I guide the client in the direction of healing or self actualization incorporating Cognitive Processing , Jungian therapy and Attachment-Based therapy. “Jungian”refers to the psychological doctrines and analytical therapy developed by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung. It helps to uncover hidden forces driving human behavior by integrating the conscious and unconscious mind, ultimately striving toward authenticity and personal wholeness. Attachment Based therapy is a form of counseling that explores how your early childhood relationships with primary caregivers shape your adult attachment style. In addition to individual therapy I have worked with couples using the Gottman Method. It is a structured, research-based approach to couples therapy developed by Drs. John and Julie Gottman. It aims to disarm conflicting verbal communication, increase intimacy and respect, and remove barriers. If you are seeing me through an EAP or have a limited amount of therapy sessions I also do Solution Focused Brief Therapy where we don’t look at the past as much as we look towards the future and what you want to envision. With my help you can get there.

Born and raised in the inner city by a single mother and a large extended family, I noticed the needs of those that were mentally or physically diagnosed were often not met. Therefore, I began to inquire about what I needed to do in order to be a part of the solution. I began to work in the field and I have worked in Behavioral/Mental Health for close to 20 years. My experience covers a plethora of ages and diagnosis across many settings. My determination to treat and support those with mental health diagnosis during the pandemic inspired me to perform outpatient therapy via telehealth to adults and adolescents. I specialize in adults 25-55 with various diagnoses but primarily Anxiety, PTSD, trauma and Depression to name a few. I am a bilingual therapist (English & Spanish) that believes therapy should be a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Reaching out for help takes courage, and you do not have to face life’s challenges alone. I support adults and older adults experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, panic attacks, burnout, chronic stress, grief, chronic pain, and difficult life transitions. I also work with individuals navigating divorce, relationship and marital concerns, family conflict, women’s and men’s issues, caregiving responsibilities, retirement, and adjustments related to medical conditions or changes in health. Many clients seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. I provide support in exploring the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be impacting your relationships, work, and overall quality of life. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and create practical solutions to help you regain balance and confidence. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized to your unique needs and goals. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based counseling to help you better understand yourself, manage symptoms, and create meaningful change. Therapy is tailored to your individual experiences, values, and personal journey. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while building resilience, improving relationships, and developing the skills needed to create a more fulfilling life. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, emotional burnout, relationship difficulties, chronic stress, chronic pain, or adjusting to a major life transition, I am here to support you in taking the next steps toward healing and growth. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater emotional wellness and a renewed sense of hope.

Hi! My name is Mira and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health from Midwestern State University. I also graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences and a concentration on Families and Personal Relationships. As a child of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of inter-generational trauma. The weight of cultural and societal expectations can take a toll on one’s mental health. Family and religious pressure can also have a negative effect on our own identity and self-perception. I believe that no matter what our past has given us or what our future holds, we are capable of working through our life challenges. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients embrace their authentic self and discover new paths of healing and growth.

“Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in our pains. It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” — C.S. Lewis. I believe we all have the ability to heal and transform our lives - and we all have a unique path to get us there. Let’s discover your deepest truths together so that your heart and mind may be renewed and you might live more abundantly. If you're willing to do some work, I will work hard to create a safe space for you, and we can collaborate on this journey together. I have Master's degrees in Counseling and Religious Studies, so I can incorporate spiritual guidance into counseling if you would like(completely optional). I also have training in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and worked previously as a hospital chaplain which was an incredible experience. However, I'm proud to say that I have formed wonderful relationships with clients of all bends, and even of no particular faith background. I have respect for all faiths and traditions as long as they are life-giving. "You shall know [Your] truth, and it shall set you free."

I’m passionate about walking with people as they navigate healing, growth, and self-discovery—especially those in communities that have often been overlooked or underserved. My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a variety of roles: school teacher, parole officer, child protective services investigator, state benefits worker, and therapy aide for individuals with brain injuries. Each experience deepened my understanding of resilience, empathy, and the importance of community connection. In our work together, no concern is “too small.” This is your space to feel seen, heard, and supported as you sort through the things that matter most to you. I see therapy as a collaborative process—we’ll work together to explore your strengths, challenges, and goals, at a pace that feels right for you. My counseling style is flexible and eclectic, pulling from different therapeutic approaches to fit your needs. Whether we’re focusing on reflection, problem-solving, or new ways of coping, the goal is to create a plan that feels authentic and useful to you. I consider it an honor to be part of your journey and look forward to supporting you along the way.

Having worked in the educational field for many years, I chose to go into to counseling in order to help others who are in need of understanding, support and encouragement. Allowing someone to express their thoughts, feeling and helping them see or understand what may be holding them back or creating issues in their life is rewarding. My aim is help others learn how to manage and go forward with all they have experienced and encountered.
