These times are urgent. Let us slow down.” ― Bayo Akomolafe Let's take things one breath at a time, slowing down instead of rushing through the hard parts. I don’t believe in fixing or solving everything all at once in the hopes it does not reoccur. Instead, I offer space for curiosity, vulnerability, and connection, because that’s often where healing begins. Together we’ll practice being with your experiences, not just getting past them. I work with people facing all kinds of mental health and personal life challenges, and I especially love helping clients untangle old patterns and build new ones that feel more like them. My approach is relational and HUMOROUS, humanistic, honest, warm, and collaborative. I work mostly with teens and adults. Outside of therapy, I’m usually testing a new hairstyle, thrifting, listening to Afrobeats, or walking my dachshund, Winston-Bishop.

Hello, I’m Naomi, and I’m glad you’re here. I’m a licensed mental health clinician providing therapy for teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck. You may be managing a lot on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside, trying to keep everything together while feeling unsure of what to do next. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. My goal is to create an environment where you can be yourself without feeling pressured to have everything figured out. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and individualized. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and expressive techniques when helpful. I don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all. Instead, we’ll work together to find approaches and strategies that fit your needs, personality, and everyday life.

My name is Nadine Thompson, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. I earned my Master of Social Work degree, specializing in Clinical Practice, from Smith College School of Social Work in 1991. I also have post-graduate certification in Addiction counseling, multicultural practice, DBT, and Couples and Family Therapy. I've worked in many different settings with individuals and families who have a variety of personal issues such as depression/anxiety, stress, family problems, trauma/abuse, addiction, relationships/parenting, and more. Over the past 30 years as a clinician, my experience has taught me that the most important aspect of counseling by far is the rapport, connection, and comfort you feel with your therapist. Recently, I have come to really see the value in being able "to hold space" for clients to express their deepest feelings and possibly find the answers and direction that they need as they become more self-aware. We all want to be able to share our personal truths and be accepted and understood. I believe in the power of “telling our stories”, as a pathway to healing and resilience. Our work together may include you being able to see yourself and those around you more clearly and develop tools and strategies for creating change in your life.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals with complex and high acuity mental health needs. My work is grounded in trauma informed and trauma responsive care, with a strong commitment to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent clients, and individuals in rural communities. I work across the lifespan, including children (7+), adults, older adults, families, and couples. My approach is collaborative and empowering, centered on the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives and require my clinical expertise. I often describe my role as “working myself out of a job” to help clients build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to advocate for themselves and navigate systems independently. As a trauma specialist, I tailor evidence based interventions to each client’s identities, needs, strengths, and goals. My primary approaches include Somatic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-(EMDRIA certification pending), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate Internal Family Systems informed interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, exposure based strategies, mindfulness, and other approaches as clinically appropriate. I adapt treatment for neurodivergent clients and clients with intellectual or developmental disabilities because therapy should adjust to the person and not require the person to adjust to therapy. I am continually shaped by the courage, insight, and lived experiences clients bring into our work. I am excited about the success my clients have accomplished. It is their discovery that is most interesting: for example, it is possible to change personality even though we have always been told it never happens! We approach this by exploring emotions that form the building blocks of personality. In this sort of work, I find that the most effective therapy happens when clients and I form a interpersonal therapeutic bond of trust. By the way, when I say that change is possible , I really believe it, and I am confident that if you are willing to work on what many would call impossible...building trust...you will leave our sessions feeling a sense of increased wholeness. (Today also marks the beginning of a new partnership with Teach America! I have loved Teach America since they began. Grow Therapy and I are offering 20 counseling sessions to Teach America members free of charge!)

My name is Monica Miller. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, Massachusetts, and Maryland. I have over 20 years of experience counseling children, parents, couples, and individuals. I received my Master's in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. As a transpersonal counselor, I view my clients' health through three lenses: Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual. While we may not discuss these in each of your sessions, they are always a part of your experience. I have experience working on personal growth, especially in the later stages of adolescence (ages 18-25). My familiarity with working with depression and anxiety allows me to help others in all stages of life.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I graduated from Boston College with my master's in social work. I have a lot of experience treating both children and adults. I specifically love helping anyone who has been struggling with past traumatic issues, anxiety, OCD, depression or other mood disorder. I also enjoying helping those struggling with life transitions. I also have a lot of experience working with children as I have been a school counselor as well as a teacher. I have helped many children who have had struggles in school as well as helped parents with parenting (children do not come with the much-needed instruction manual, so let's figure it out together). Whatever the issue may be, let's tackle it together. No one should have to do it alone. We all need someone to talk to at times.

I am a bilingual Hispanic-Latina psychologist who provides therapy in both English and Spanish. For over six years, I have supported individuals as they navigate life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. I specialize in trauma, emotional healing, and grief in all its forms. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or burdened by experiences they have carried for a long time. Whether you are coping with loss, relationship difficulties, anxiety, life transitions, cultural or immigration-related stressors, or the lasting impact of trauma, you do not have to navigate it alone. My approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and deep listening. I believe healing happens within the context of a genuine therapeutic relationship—one where you feel seen, heard, respected, and understood. I strive to create a supportive space where you can explore your experiences openly and move toward healing at your own pace. As a strengths-based therapist, I support clients recognize and build upon their resilience, wisdom, and existing capacities for growth. I also believe it is important to understand our experiences within the larger social and cultural contexts that shape our lives. Together, we explore how factors such as family dynamics, cultural expectations, discrimination, immigration experiences, and systemic inequities may influence emotional well-being. My work focuses on support clients reconnect with themselves, identify what matters most, and create lives that feel meaningful and aligned with their values. Whether you are seeking healing, greater self-understanding, or support through a difficult season of life, I am committed to meeting you with empathy, curiosity, and respect. I believe healing is possible, and that you deserve a space where your story is honored and your experiences are valued. It would be a privilege to accompany you on your journey toward growth and emotional well-being.

Hi, I’m Tiffany, a licensed clinical social worker who provides individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma-related stress, grief, major life transitions, emotional overwhelm, low self-confidence, relationship difficulties, and challenges with boundaries or communication. My goal is to provide a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly, feel understood, and explore the experiences that have shaped how you think, feel, cope, and connect with others. I understand that many people come to therapy after spending years taking care of everyone else, pushing through difficult situations, minimizing their own needs, or trying to hold everything together. You may appear strong and capable to others while privately feeling exhausted, disconnected, anxious, or unsure of what to do next. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. We will make room to process difficult emotions while also identifying patterns, developing coping strategies, strengthening communication, and creating meaningful steps toward change. I believe therapy should provide more than a place to talk—it should help you understand yourself more clearly and use that understanding in your everyday life. Whether you are experiencing a recent challenge or working through patterns that have developed over many years, we will begin where you are and move at a pace that respects your needs. I currently provide individual psychotherapy for adults and am not accepting new couples or family therapy clients.
