Hi! My name is Dr. Bianca Clark and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have a doctorate degree in Advanced Studies in Human Behavior, I have a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. My bachelors degree is from Loyola University Chicago and my masters degree is from Chicago State University. I reside in the Chicagoland area.
I have worked in behavioral health, outpatient mental health, psychiatric services, and crisis. My background is in Child Welfare, Juvenile Delinquency, Juvenile Probation, and Mental Health.
I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, major life transitions, caregiver responsibilities, chronic illness, grief and loss, aging, and unexpected change.
I bring a combination of clinical expertise, compassion, and real-world experience to my work. My background in hospital settings has given me extensive experience helping individuals and families cope with medical diagnoses, crisis situations, caregiving demands, health-related uncertainty, and significant life changes.
My experience as a military spouse has also shaped my understanding of transition, identity, uncertainty, and starting over. Military life often requires adjusting to change, rebuilding routines, navigating career and family shifts, and finding stability during unfamiliar seasons. That perspective allows me to connect not only with military families, but with anyone facing a major transition, feeling disconnected from who they once were, or trying to create a new sense of direction.
I have seen firsthand how resilient people can be, even during incredibly difficult seasons. These experiences have strengthened my ability to remain calm under pressure, provide compassionate support, and help clients find hope, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to move forward one step at a time.
I believe therapy works best when it feels less like a clinical appointment and more like a conversation with someone who's genuinely listening — really listening, not just waiting for their turn to speak. That's the space I try to create in every session: one where you can be honest without feeling judged, and where you leave feeling a little lighter than when you walked in.
Many of my clients tell me they felt comfortable opening up right away, even in their very first session. That's not an accident — I take the time to understand where you actually are in your life before jumping to solutions. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, working through anxiety or depression, or just feeling stuck and unsure how to move forward, my goal is to help you see your situation more clearly and find a path that actually fits your life.
I use an integrative approach — drawing on humanistic, solution-focused, and behavioral techniques — but the tools matter less than the relationship. I want you to feel heard, supported, and a little more hopeful after every conversation we have.
If you look like you 'have it all together' but are secretly exhausted by an anxious, non-stop internal monologue, you are in the right place. I help adults navigate the overwhelming seasons of life; from major transitions like career and relationship shifts, to the daily grind of chronic worry and perfectionism.
I believe in an active, collaborative, and tool-forward approach. We will break down your worries and concerns and map out how your mind works in order to build concrete strategies you can use the moment stress hits.
I’m Tanja L. Brown, LCSW, a compassionate and experienced clinical social worker who believes you deserve a safe, judgment-free space to heal, grow, and be heard. I work with individuals who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything life is asking of them.
My approach is warm, practical, and client-centered. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way, build on your strengths, and develop strategies that help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control of your life.
You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Let’s work together toward the life and peace you deserve.
We all struggle with obstacles that seem insurmountable but I believe everyone has the power within themselves to reach for the stars. Sometimes it takes baby steps and often we need someone we can trust to lend a helping hand. I will be there to listen and offer that hand. I hold a Clinical Psychologist license to practice in Illinois. I completed my doctorate studies at Adler University. My professional experience in treatment spans over 25 years. I believe a person holds the ability to transform their life for the better. I find satisfaction in helping them advance on their path. The following examples show my methods for treating anxiety and depression.
The evidence-based treatment method I use for anxiety focuses on individualized symptom-specific approaches that match the client’s needs and personal preferences. The combination of repetitive and irrational thoughts about perceived danger, uncertainty or failure creates distressing mental states which may manifest as negative thought, such as: "I am not good enough" or "something bad will happen" or "I will be fired if I make a mistake."
I assist my clients to detect and fight their negative beliefs and thoughts. I guide clients to manage their anxiety symptoms with mindfulness breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation methods. With assigned homework including mindfulness exercises, I guide the client to maintain their progress and self-regulation between sessions.
My depression treatment approach matches each client's symptoms, their life history, and their social environment. Depression exists on a spectrum from temporary sadness to persistent and severe Major Depressive Disorder. The maintenance of depression relies on negative thoughts such as “I am worthless” or “Nothing will ever get better.” Our focus will be to identify and modify.
Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients view their depressive thoughts in a non-judgmental manner to reduce their rumination and emotional distress. By teaching problem solving skills and the practice of mindfulness helps the individual become more aware of their physical tension. Assigning homework guides the individual to improve sleep hygiene, self-care, and build effective coping strategies.
HI, I'm Ja'Quez a Clinical Social Worker Licensed in Illinois and Colorado.
At times Life can feel heavy, and having a safe space to reflect and find your next steps can make a big difference. I also provide an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients and approach therapy with cultural humility, honoring each person’s unique experiences and identity.
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), my mission is to guide individuals on a journey back to their innate wisdom, compassion, peace, and confidence. I often think of the story of Michelangelo, who described sculpting as the act of chipping away marble to reveal the beauty already within. This metaphor beautifully captures the counseling process: together, we identify and remove the barriers obscuring your true SELF, allowing your inner brilliance to shine through.
My approach is rooted in deep compassion for the human experience. I bring to our work a blend of trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices, enriched by certifications in Mind-Body Bridging, Cognitively-Based Compassion Training, and Cultivating Emotional Balance. I draw from powerful therapeutic frameworks, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Compassionate Inquiry, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs.
I earned my doctorate and post-graduate master's degrees in psychology and my master's degree in counseling from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Professionally, I retired from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer, and since retiring, have worked in several different behavioral health settings. In addition to my private practice, I am a graduate-level adjunct professor of counseling psychology.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with nine years of experience, and I am deeply passionate about the work I do. Throughout my career, I have worked in both nonprofit settings and private practice, earning a reputation for building meaningful, long-term relationships with my clients. Many clients return to me when they decide to re-engage with therapy, which speaks to the trust and connection we previously established. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating daily stressors, the challenges of past trauma, or relational distress. While I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, I am most frequently sought out by Latinas and individuals with a Christian background.

Hello, I’m Tim.
Do you ever feel that tasks of modern life leave you with limited space and energy to focus on your emotional and mental well-being? When people are maxed out emotionally, they sometimes notice a change in their behaviors and relationships. Life demands can lead to imbalances that might manifest as discord with your significant other or family members, feeling the general sensation of stress or fatigue, or not feeling motivated to engage in mood-regenerating practices.
If these experiences resonate with you, I would welcome the opportunity to collaboratively explore the underlying causes, and work toward rebuilding emotional equilibrium. Sometimes people will view therapy and self-care as too much of a time commitment during their already busy schedules; however, I take the stance that it is an essential part of any self-maintenance plan. A practice of working toward better self-understanding and self-compassion is always a return on the investment of time.
Hi there, I'm Jasmine, LCSW, and I'm here to help you navigate those overwhelming feelings that can sometimes feel like a pressure cooker. Whether it's the fear of disappointing others, feeling misunderstood, or battling with anxiety and depression, I understand how these emotions can pile up and become unbearable. You might even find yourself resorting to self-harm as a way to cope. It's hard to reach out and put these feelings into words, but you don't have to do it alone—this is my specialty, and I already understand what you're going through.
With my guidance, you'll learn emotion management skills that can help you handle these big emotions and break the cycle. Imagine not having to use all your energy pretending to be okay because you actually are okay. Together, we can work on managing stress, connecting with others, and finding the energy to truly enjoy life. You won't have to be on the defensive anymore.
I believe in open communication and honest boundaries, especially when it comes to sensitive topics like self-harm. Rest assured, this is an area I work with regularly, and I'm committed to being with you every step of the way. There's no jumping straight to inpatient care here—I'll teach you what you need to know to stop this and move forward with your life.
If you're ready to take the first step towards feeling better and living a more fulfilling life, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to find the peace and understanding you deserve.
