I am a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Florida and New Jersey, bringing over a decade of experience to my work with diverse populations, including individuals, veterans, caregivers, and the elderly. I specialize in supporting individuals facing complex medical challenges, such as neurological conditions like ALS, MS, and spinal cord injuries, as well as those dealing with depression, anxiety, and life stressors, particularly in end-of-life and palliative care.
With a holistic, patient-centered approach, I create a warm and collaborative therapeutic environment that emphasizes resilience and growth. I utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion-Focused Therapy, to provide clients with practical tools for overcoming obstacles. Grounded in a strength-based and faith-centered perspective, I empower clients to discover their inner strengths and navigate their unique paths to wellness. My goal is to foster hope, empowerment, and lasting change, helping you find peace and purpose in your life. Let’s embark on this journey together—book a session today!
Integrating clinical expertise with Christian values, I strive to support emotional healing, resilience, and personal growth. I believe true healing occurs when mind, body, and spirit are nurtured together. My work focuses on helping clients manage stress, regulate emotions and move forward with hope, faith, and intention while honoring each individual's unique journey.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida and my graduate studies at the University of South Carolina. Throughout my career, I have served diverse populations, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults.
In my 14 years of experience, I have worked with individuals who are feeling emotionally stuck due to sadness, irritability, relationship issues, anger, financial loss, unresolved trauma, loss of a loved one and/or anxiety. These emotions may lead you into a mental whirlwind which feels chaotic and uncontrollable. But know that you are not alone and there is hope. I will provide you with treatment focused on using evidence-based practices such as Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Based Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy. I will engage you in creating a treatment plan that works for you! I will assist you in identifying your interest of focus (personal issues), empower you to process and reach your goals as you achieve emotional stability in therapy.
I have been practicing mental health counseling since 2004. I have worked with a wide variety of psychological and life issues over the years and have found that the most important part of a successful therapy experience is having an authentic, trusting relationship with my clients. I strive to create a safe and compassionate environment where you can explore and discuss vulnerable topics and feel understood. I’m interested in supporting you through the process of achieving your goals.
I view therapy as a process of both healing and development. Life is hard and everyone has sustained emotional or psychological injuries of some kind. These injuries can be limiting because they keep us stuck in unfulfilling patterns of emotions, behaviors, and relationships, and distort our sense of self. As we engage in the process of healing, those negative patterns begin to shift until they no longer fit or make sense. Life becomes more fulfilling as you develop into a more authentic self.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. I work with adults who may look like they have everything together on the outside but are struggling with anxiety, burnout, overthinking, career stress, or feeling stuck on the inside.
My approach is warm, practical, and goal-oriented. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and coaching-informed strategies to help you understand your patterns, identify what you want to change, and take meaningful steps forward
Painful experiences often lead people to develop protective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions. These strategies may appear as perfectionism, emotional avoidance, anger toward loved ones, or repeated involvement in unhealthy relationships. While they can offer temporary relief, they often create disconnection from oneself and others, contributing to feelings of loneliness, shame, anxiety, and depression.
I am dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their sense of self worth and process traumatic experiences that contribute to insecure attachment and unhelpful patterns. I believe that although emotional wounds often occur within relationships, healing also takes place through safe and supportive connection. With compassion, courage, and a willingness to explore difficult experiences, meaningful and lasting change is possible. Healing can happen, and there is always hope.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about walking alongside individuals who want to heal, grow, and build healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. Over the years, I have worked with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and difficulties in relationships, and I have seen firsthand how meaningful therapy can be when it feels both safe and effective. I believe that therapy should be a space where you feel understood and supported while also learning concrete tools to create change in your everyday life. My role is to listen as well as help you gain insight, shift unhelpful patterns, and strengthen your confidence in managing stressors. I bring warmth, compassion, and evidence-based strategies to my work so that clients leave sessions feeling both validated and equipped to move forward.
Feeling overwhelmed like you can’t handle another thing? Feeling like no one understands what you’re going through? Feeling alone in your struggle? What you’re experiencing may seem like forever, but it’s temporary. You have taken the first step into making that change that you have been nudging yourself to do.

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I am passionate about supporting adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions and pursue meaningful growth. Whether you are a college student or recent graduate adjusting to a new season of life, an individual facing anxiety or depression, or a couple preparing for marriage or working to strengthen your relationship, I strive to provide guidance that feels both supportive and practical.
My Christian faith shapes my personal values; however, I work with people from all backgrounds and beliefs. Faith-based perspectives are incorporated into counseling only if a client specifically desires it.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and supported. Life transitions—whether expected or unexpected—can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. Together, we can explore the challenges you are facing and work toward the emotional and personal goals that matter most to you.
I have experience working with adults experiencing life changes, including college and post-college transitions, relationship challenges, marriage and premarital preparation, and parenting. I also support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and stress that often accompany these seasons of change. My background as a behavioral specialist in community mental health allows me to effectively support adults diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum disorder, as well as parents raising children with these diagnoses.
In my work with couples, I draw from my experience as a trained Prepare/Enrich facilitator to help partners strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and build healthier, more connected relationships.
When working with individuals, I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My focus is on equipping you with practical tools and strategies so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Hello, I'm Rose-Marie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Life can be stressful at times and it can be hard to cope with the everyday changes and curve balls thrown at you. Sometimes we don't think about the importance of our mental health. We struggle with adjusting to the changes life sends our way and may end up becoming anxious or depressed. In today's busy world we find ourselves playing multiple roles that require a lot of our time. We may even find it hard to communicate our feelings, emotions, wants and needs in our various relationships. As a result we may neglect to take care of ourselves or may focus more on one of our roles while neglecting the others. As a working mother of two, I totally get this and I am passionate about helping other parents navigate these demands. I can help you explore and find ways to cope. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help address the thoughts that led to depression and increased persistent anxiety. I also use Solution Focused Therapy to look at what worked and how to do more of it.
The great thing is that you took the first step by seeking a therapist. This can be scary, but I believe in creating an open and safe environment for you to share issues and feelings without feeling judged. I work with you at a pace you feel comfortable with while building the therapeutic relationship.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University. My concentration was clinical practice in health and mental health settings. For the past 14 years I have been working in a hospital setting. I am Teri, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner (LSATP) with extensive experience in behavioral health, having worked in the field since 2018. My dedication lies in supporting individuals who are navigating mental health challenges and substance use disorders. I believe in the power of education, helping my clients understand how their behaviors and past experiences shape their present circumstances and future potential. I am now accepting clients in the State of Florida and Tennessee.
My approach to therapy is rooted in empowerment. I work collaboratively with my clients to uncover the how, when, what, and why of their struggles, so they can better understand the underlying causes of their issues. By addressing these root causes, I believe individuals can begin to break the cycle of unhealthy behaviors and make meaningful changes in their lives.
If you are struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges, I am here to help you gain clarity, learn new coping strategies, and create a path toward lasting change. Together, we can work toward understanding and healing so you can live a more fulfilling life.
