Jayme Johnson
Graduated from East Carolina University in 2008 with my Master of Social Work degree. Compassionate Mental Health Professional dedicated to supporting clients on their journey toward sustainable healing and personal growth in an outpatient setting. With experience conducting risk assessments in psychiatric emergency rooms and guiding recovery on inpatient unit, I bring a deep understanding of the full continuum of mental health care. My outpatient practice blends the practical problem-solving of CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy with the empowering momentum of Motivational Interviewing and core distress-tolerance elements of DBT. I offer clients a safe, grounded space to develop lasting coping mechanisms, build resilience, and create meaningful life changes.
Strengths
My therapy setting is a mix of quiet, supportive listening with some gentle challenges to promote change.
