My life experiences are what led me to become a therapist and shaped my deep commitment to supporting others on their healing paths. Over the years, I’ve worked in a wide range of settings — schools, jails, hospitals, and private practice — which has given me a broad understanding of how people cope, survive, and grow in very different environments. I have specialized training in TF‑CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, autism, and women’s mental health, including perinatal, postpartum, and perimenopausal/menopausal concerns. These areas of focus allow me to support women across the full spectrum of emotional, hormonal, and life transitions. I look forward to walking alongside you as we navigate this journey together. Hi there, my name’s Ephraim Tokar. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 20+ years of experience. My specialties consist of relationships, men’s issues, career counseling, and psychosomatic illnesses. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, working initially with the adolescent population before transitioning over to adults. I then received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
