You've tried therapy before but found that coping skills and worksheets aren't cutting it. I am a queer 2nd-gen Asian therapist taking a deeper approach. Together, we collect the pieces of your life story you've taken from past relationships and experiences and examine them, looking for new ways to write your own story. I also welcome discussion of issues like racism, homophobia, sexism, and how they affect us. My clients are able to make sense of their patterns and discover their own solutions through a space we craft with humor, compassion, and the occasional meme. By the end of therapy, my clients share feeling more at peace with themselves and more confident in managing their relationships.
Most of my experience has been with children and teens at Kaiser Permanente over the last 6 years, including the combination of depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and conflictual family dynamics. I have also worked in research settings with folks experiencing psychosis and college-aged students. At present, I am providing crisis evaluations at a local non-profit in SF in addition to this practice. I see teens and adults through this practice.
When it comes to the therapeutic experience, my treatment motto is “therapy is a collaborative journey.” In treatment, the client or the patient sets the pace for treatment. As a clinician, we are trained to meet our patienst and clients where they are, currently, and provide services as appropriate. I always use this analogy when introducing how treatment will proceed to clients. I explain to clients that the therapeutic journey is like a road trip. They are in the driver's seat. They are setting the pace. They are deciding the route and the destination. All I do, as their therapist, is hold the GPS, suggest alternative routes when needed, and set the music.

My name is Bolor Purvee, and I’m a Mongolian-American Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families, especially those with young children, as they navigate challenges and strengthen relationships. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse communities and helping clients navigate challenges such as immigration trauma, cultural adjustment, homelessness, anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, and relationship concerns. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and rooted in meeting clients where they are as we work together toward healing, growth, and resilience.
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing clients leave therapy feeling empowered, understood, and more connected to themselves and others.
Do you struggle with people-pleasing, anxiety, depression, internalized and/or externalized anger, or managing emotions in general in a healthy manner? Did you experience childhood trauma and feel like you grew up too fast? Were you labeled "different," "the "caretaker," "black sheep," or "troublemaker"? I teach people how to prioritize and honor all parts of themselves, not just the "desirable" ones. We will work through parts people generally dismiss and ignore such as anger, resentment, shame, and disgust, and learn how to embrace them gracefully. I'll teach you the skills to feel more at peace.
As your therapist, I will be challenging and direct, yet empathetic and compassionate. I will challenge you through introspective questioning that will lead you to your own answers. I help you take what you've learned and apply it to your own life by giving you things to think about and work on between sessions, along with resources and handouts to remember.
I hope you'll witness yourself feeling more empowered, confident, and more at peace with yourself as my other clients have. You will notice your relationships evolve and change, which can be scary! Rest assured, you will be provided with skills to gracefully go through them.
Everything you seek is already inside you. All I’m doing is helping you remember.

Hi, I’m Alexa Eguchi Diaz, LMFT. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about supporting individuals through recovery, mental health challenges, relationship difficulties, trauma, and meaningful life transitions. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to be vulnerable, and encouraged enough to grow. My approach is warm, collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in attachment-based, psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and cognitive behavioral therapies. I believe our thoughts, emotions, experiences, and relationships all influence the ways we cope and move through life. In our work together, we may explore the deeper patterns that have shaped how you see yourself and relate to others while also developing practical tools to help you navigate challenges in the present. I believe meaningful change involves both understanding yourself more deeply and practicing new ways of responding. I especially enjoy working with individuals who feel stuck in patterns they understand but have difficulty changing, are navigating recovery, or are experiencing challenges with relationships, boundaries, self-trust, or major life changes. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My role is not to tell you who you should be or what choices you should make. Instead, I want to help you better understand yourself, identify what matters most to you, and feel more confident in creating a life that feels authentic, connected, and sustainable.
I’m a relational therapist who works with adults seeking a more intentional, connected, and fulfilling way of living. Many of the people I work with feel caught in patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, overfunctioning, or burnout—often finding it difficult to relax, be present, or feel truly connected to themselves or others.
I am in-network with Aetna and Kaiser
My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned, integrating insight-oriented and experiential work with practical tools. I support clients in understanding the patterns shaping how they think, feel, and relate—including the impact of upbringing, culture, and expectations—so they can reconnect with their internal compass. My goal is to help you align with your values and feel more grounded, authentic, and at ease in your life and relationships.

Therefore, I work collaboratively with you to identify your goals and develop personalized strategies to achieve them. My aim is to provide you with the tools and support necessary to not only address your immediate concerns but also to cultivate lasting personal growth and well-being. I am deeply committed to walking alongside my clients as they explore and address the challenges they face. My approach is grounded in deep listening, providing thoughtful feedback, and helping you gain a clearer understanding of yourself and your experiences. I believe true change happens when we are able to confront and process difficult emotions, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
In my practice, I use effective therapeutic techniques like Brainspotting and Culturally Competent approaches to help you work through the root causes of emotional distress. These methods allow for deeper healing and lasting change, helping you move past obstacles and embrace personal growth. I also ensure that your cultural background is always respected and incorporated into our work, creating a safe space where you can feel understood and supported.
Having struggled to find a therapist who truly embodies these values, I am dedicated to providing an inclusive, affirming, and safe environment for all of my clients. My goal is to help you live more authentically and confidently, fostering a sense of empowerment as you navigate your unique journey toward healing.
I help individuals find relief from anxious thoughts, worries, and overthinking and discover the next logical steps for challenges related to relationships, work stress, communication and family issues.
