As an ABOLITIONIST, I believe in *literally* abolishing police, prisons, & all other forms of state violence. I am happy to discuss in-depth but for now, know that I am most heavily oriented in the work of folx like Project Nia; Interrupting Criminalization; Equitable Care Certification, and Survived & Punished. Of course, I am still deepening my learning and praxis, as one ought. As a RESOURCE MAVEN, I facilitate linkages to information & resources to support people’s wellbeing. Meaning I actually make the calls, etc., if wanted/needed. This type of support is a major source of joy for me & something that I’d be happy to handle on behalf of your organization! I’m a FACILITATOR of JOY because, as a Queer, Disabled, Neurodivergent, Gender Nonconforming Black person, I place special emphasis on helping marginalized folx find and (re)create joy in a world that denies us joy. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, my focus is on understanding the environmental and contextual factors at play in your life. I come to therapy with a trauma-informed/healing-centered perspective and work collaboratively with you on determining what kinds of interventions are best suited for your needs. My approach is laid back and can be viewed as “coachy,” meaning I ask questions and provide feedback to help you figure out solutions that will work for your life. I also encourage you to bring your culturally-specific creative and spiritual practices to therapy, so if you want to pull out some tarot cards or discuss how your ancestor frequently visits to talk with you, we can do that!

Hello. I'm Robyn, If you are here, there's a good chance that you have been trying your best to navigate challenges that feel like too much. You may be feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, or out of sync with the life you want to live. You may be going through a life transition, have become more aware of past or present traumas impacting you now, or have faced a recent difficult experience, and are ready to begin your healing journey. I help empower teens and adults to overcome past adverse and traumatic experiences to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Adversity and trauma may have led you to experience anxiety, depression, PTSD, low self-esteem, or relationship challenges, that negatively impact your daily life. But these symptoms do not define you. Rather they speak to the hardships and challenges you have faced. Allow me to offer you a safe space to process your story and learn new skills to begin your healing journey, release shame, build self-compassion, and live authentically YOU. I look forward to working together.

I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing. I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come. I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.

I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, applied behavioral analysis, neuropsychology, and psychoanalysis. My interventions tend to be inclusive and can involve one, or all of these methods depending upon what would be most beneficial for you. The fields of humanistic and Adlerian psychology have also greatly influenced my approach as a therapist. As a result, when I am asked what my theoretical orientation is, I identify myself as “eclectic.” My experience has taught me that there is no singular “best” approach. Only what would be best for the individual seeking help. The benefit of my diversified training is that I am able to cater my interventions to meet your unique and specific needs.

Hi, I'm Celeste! I am passionate about helping people live a happier life- whether that means learning how to better manage anxiety, working through traumas, or developing a kinder inner monologue. I believe in order to make any changes, we must first understand how we got here. That is why I place a big emphasis on insight and help you understand how you got where you are, why it makes sense, and how we can change it. I love mixing and matching approaches to best suit your individual needs. I often use psychodynamic theory, which looks at the subconscious and Cognitive Behavioral Theory, which looks at the interaction between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also focus on somatics, or the body. In our work together we will explore the signals your body is sending you and how to regulate them. I believe the most important thing in our time together is that you feel heard, seen, and supported. I view it as an honor to guide a client back to themselves and assist in building a more fulfilling and enjoyable life!

Throughout my career, I have successfully been providing effective psychotherapy to clients who would not otherwise have access to services if they were required to go to an office and am here to provide you services at your convenience. Originally, I was born and lived most of my life in London, England where I was fortunate to receive the highest education at the best schools. Later I moved to California where I enrolled in Graduate School at The University of Southern California. I dedicated myself to providing mental health services to the most at-risk on the streets of Skid Row, out of the JWCH Institute. I worked as part of a highly expert team of professionals to improve and advocate for the lives of all adults in need through psychotherapy primarily. After several years, I chose to gain experience working with children and their families did so by joining Wellnest (FKA LACGC). Working again in-field, I provided mental health services to children and teens while also coordinating with parents and other family members. I have experience and continue to work to provide various assessments, treatment plans, psychotherapy and more via Tele-therapy to meet with adults in a variety of settings remotely. I truly believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and I make it a priority to do so in every client encounter and session, I always have. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique, specific needs to address how your current symptoms affect your health, relationships, job or any other major part of your life. Hi there, I am Christine. I have been honored to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds struggling with challenging issues for many years. I base my understanding of how people function and how they heal in human physiology and Christian practices. People experience adverse events differently, impacting them emotionally, physically, and spiritually. These experiences are often not understood verbally by the person, that is why it is important for me to help individuals understand the many levels to healing. Change from a Christian perspective is very practical and personal, while taking into account what might remain unknown on the nonverbal level. In therapy, I utilize a Christian perspective, where the whole person, mind, body, soul, and spirit are valued and addressed according to a biblical interpretation. The mind, body, and spirit are all connected, and the spiritual component is essential to complete wholeness and restoration. I believe the Bible is the infallible and inspired word of God and is relevant to all areas of life. I believe it is vital to utilize evidence based therapeutic approaches while incorporating scripture as we take a closer look at all areas of your life. The integration of Christian teaching in therapy with individuals who desire this type of intervention helps them gain a sense of hope for life in Jesus Christ. In my therapeutic approach, I value the positive benefits of faith-based interventions enabling individuals to connect their mental health treatment with their faith creating a more holistic approach to treatment and personal growth. I am here to help; you do not have to figure this out alone.

Hello, You may have often heard some people say that therapy is for only those with a mental illness or are "crazy". I'm Mark G. Koch and have been a licensed Marriage Family Therapist since 1996, and I can honestly tell you that those type of statements are a myth. Everyone has a view of how the world works and we use the tools we have to deal with our issues, but occasionally there comes a time when a problem arises that we have no answer to. At this point we become "stuck". You can say that these are the cards life has dealt you and do nothing, or you can get help to learn new ways to see your world and use new tools to change your world. You have the strength and you have the power and somewhere in your mind, you have the answers. My job is to help you find them and to show you how to use them, so that you can begin to move towards whatever your goals are for your world. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including private practice, psychiatric hospitals, County Mental Health, non-profit organizations and most recently utilizing remote virtual therapy. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups. My expertise in is Obsessive Compulsive Disorders and other Anxiety Disorders along with Depression, but I also have had a multitude of experience with Personality Disorders, Bi-Polar Disorders, and with dual diagnosis. A dual diagnosis is when a person has a mental health issue such as depression, and is also dealing with a drug/alcohol issue. Having said all of this, I actually have had a great amount of success dealing with adolescents, those having relationship issues, and communication between couples. I look forward to hearing from you.
