Chyrissee Lee
Hello and Welcome! I’m Chyrissée and I am so glad you are here. I Believe...Life presents many challenges to our ability to stay balanced and centered in our day-to-day existence. During difficult times, additional support can offer the breathing room we need to help us make sense of our circumstances. The process of therapy and the journey of self-discovery in a supportive environment can help untangle confusing thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns that seem to be keeping you stuck. Whether you have feelings of depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, or a challenging life transition, I want to support you every step of the way.
I also integrate Mindfulness, Art Therapy, and Movement Therapy including the practice of Yoga to help you develop a stronger relationship with oneself.
Maya Angelou once said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” During our sessions, I will meet you with compassion, kindness and make it a point to provide you with a safe place to process, ask questions and grow. I make space for each of my clients to recognize their unique individuality and aim to support and facilitate growth and resiliency. Let's get started!
First session
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing that brings you to therapy at this time. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in our follow-up sessions.
Strengths
As a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Wellness Counselor and Motivational Coach, I have dedicated myself to supporting our country’s young people and their families not only educationally but also emotionally and mentally. The passion I have for youth makes me a favorite among my clients, students, parents, and community. I look forward to working with you.

Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT has been my top treatment method for over two decades. I believes it helps individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and equips them with strategies to change negative thought patterns and develop more adaptive coping mechanisms.
