I am a licensed professional clinical counselor (CA-LPCC, TX-LPC) and EMDR-certified clinician specializing in the integration of EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, performance psychology, and nervous system regulation. My work focuses on helping clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with a sense of calm, confidence, strength, and purpose. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, trauma, depression, stress-related disorders, relationship challenges, and performance-related pressure, as well as those navigating chronic health conditions, cancer treatment, and medical trauma. My approach is designed to help clients regulate the nervous system, improve emotional resilience, and restore a greater sense of safety and control within the body. I take an integrated approach to healing that combines evidence-based therapies with a strong emphasis on overall wellness, including sleep, stress management, movement, fitness, nutrition, recovery, and mind-body connection. I believe emotional health and physical health are deeply connected, and meaningful change often happens when we support both together. In addition to traditional psychotherapy, I incorporate EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, somatic-based interventions, nervous system regulation, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to create practical, lasting change. I also work with high-functioning individuals, athletes, and performers who want to improve focus, confidence, resilience, and consistency under pressure. My goal is not simply symptom reduction, but helping clients feel stronger, more grounded, more emotionally regulated, and more fully engaged in their lives.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure about what to expect. My goal in our first session is to create a supportive, comfortable environment where you feel understood, respected, and safe to begin the process. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what feels most important to focus on right now. There is never pressure to share everything at once—we move at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable for you. Together, we’ll begin identifying clear goals and practical next steps. In addition to talking through concerns, I often introduce tools for nervous system regulation, grounding, breathwork, mindset shifts, or other experiential techniques that can help you begin feeling calmer and more in control right away. I take a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that focuses not only on emotional healing, but also on improving overall quality of life, energy, stress management, self-care, and daily functioning. Most clients leave the first session feeling more hopeful, more grounded, and with a clearer sense of direction moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What makes my approach unique is the combination of warmth, structure, and integration. I create a supportive environment while also helping clients actively move toward meaningful change using practical, evidence-based tools. I understand that many people feel mentally and physically overwhelmed, stuck in chronic stress patterns, or disconnected from themselves. My work focuses on helping clients regulate the nervous system, shift unhelpful patterns, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with a stronger sense of balance and confidence. I integrate approaches such as: EMDR Clinical hypnotherapy Somatic and nervous system-based techniques Cognitive-behavioral strategies Performance psychology Stress regulation and mind-body approaches I also encourage a holistic view of wellness that includes attention to sleep, movement, recovery, exercise, nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle habits that support both emotional and physical health. Clients often notice improvements in: emotional regulation stress tolerance confidence sleep focus and performance self-awareness energy and motivation ability to feel calm and grounded under pressure

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from their sense of control, and are ready for an approach that goes beyond just talking about problems. Many of the clients I work with are experiencing anxiety, panic, stress, trauma, or depression, and may feel like their mind and body are constantly “on edge” or not working the way they used to. I also work with individuals navigating medical challenges, including cancer treatment and chronic health conditions, who are looking for support in managing fear, stress, and the physical toll of those experiences. In addition, I work well with high-functioning individuals and performers—people who are used to pushing through, but find themselves struggling with burnout, pressure, or inconsistency in performance. These clients are often motivated for change but need help regulating their nervous system and improving focus, confidence, and resilience. My approach is especially helpful for clients who: Feel like they’ve “tried everything” but still feel stuck Want practical tools to calm their mind and body Are open to integrative methods like EMDR, hypnotherapy, and somatic work Prefer a structured, goal-oriented process rather than open-ended therapy Together, we focus on helping clients move from reactivity and overwhelm to a place of calm, clarity, and control, with strategies that create both immediate relief and long-term change.
