I’m a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment and therapeutic services across the lifespan. With advanced training in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, and related neurodevelopmental conditions, I provide individualized, evidence-based care that fosters insight, clarity, and meaningful growth. As a woman of color, I bring a culturally informed, socially conscious lens to my clinical work. I’m deeply committed to advancing equity in mental health and have a strong interest in supporting underserved populations—including BIPOC communities, individuals affected by systemic disadvantage, and children and families with limited access to care. I have extensive experience conducting diagnostic evaluations with children, adolescents, and adults, including individuals with complex presentations involving executive functioning challenges, emotional-behavioral concerns, and co-occurring substance use. My assessments are thorough and collaborative, designed to empower clients and families with practical recommendations and a deeper understanding of their unique strengths and needs. In addition to assessments, I provide individual therapy grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy. I work with clients across all stages of development, helping them navigate anxiety, mood disorders, identity development, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I’m passionate about bridging neuroscience and psychotherapy to support long-term, transformative outcomes. Whether I’m working with a child struggling in school, a teen exploring their identity, or an adult processing a new diagnosis, I strive to meet each client with empathy, humility, and clinical excellence. I work with individuals navigating neurodivergence, anxiety, eating disorders, and serious mental health challenges. Many of the people I support come to me feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of how to move forward. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) as well as a Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS)

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session virtual session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brings you in. I’ll ask about your goals, background, and any challenges you're facing—always through a culturally respectful and collaborative lens. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, and compassion-focused strategies, tailored to your unique needs. As a neuropsychologist, I also consider how brain and behavior interact, helping us make sense of emotional and cognitive patterns. This session sets the foundation for meaningful, personalized care. Virtual sessions are secure, flexible, and designed to be as engaging and effective as in-person care.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths lie in integrating deep clinical knowledge with a warm, culturally responsive approach to care. As a neuropsychologist, I bring expertise in understanding the connection between brain, behavior, and emotion, which allows me to offer precise, evidence-based assessment and therapy. I draw from CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, and compassion-focused practices, tailoring treatment to meet each person’s unique needs and values. I work effectively across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and specialize in creating a safe, collaborative space—whether in-person or virtual—where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. My ability to connect psychological insight with practical tools helps clients build resilience, improve functioning, and move toward meaningful change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Whether you’re struggling with attention, executive functioning, intense emotions, or a persistent sense that something isn’t adding up, my goal is to help you make sense of your experience. I offer comprehensive evaluations and therapy to provide clarity, direction, and support—so you can better understand how your mind works and what you need to thrive. I believe in thoughtful, collaborative care that honors each person’s unique strengths and struggles. If you're looking for a deeper understanding of yourself I’m here to support.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

From a neuropsychological perspective, CBT works by helping you recognize and modify unhelpful thinking patterns, which can influence brain functioning over time. By practicing new ways of thinking and responding, CBT can support changes in brain pathways related to emotion regulation, attention, and behavior. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies to improve daily functioning, emotional well-being, and cognitive resilience.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

(ACT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you build psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present and take meaningful action, even in the face of difficult thoughts or feelings. From a neuropsychological standpoint, ACT supports brain processes involved in attention, emotion regulation, and self-awareness. Instead of trying to eliminate distressing thoughts, ACT teaches you how to relate to them differently, using mindfulness and values-based actions to improve daily functioning and overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

From a neuropsychological perspective, DBT targets areas of the brain involved in emotional regulation, impulse control, and decision-making. It combines cognitive and behavioral strategies with mindfulness practices, helping you build stronger connections between the emotional and rational parts of the brain. Through DBT, we focus on developing practical tools to manage intense emotions and support long-term cognitive and emotional health.

Humanistic

From a neuropsychological perspective, creating a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment can support brain systems involved in trust, self-reflection, and emotional regulation. This approach focuses less on “fixing” symptoms and more on understanding your experience, fostering self-acceptance, and helping you live in alignment with your values. Together, we work to deepen insight and strengthen your sense of agency and connection.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

(ERP) is a highly effective, evidence-based therapy primarily used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related conditions. From a neuropsychological standpoint, ERP helps retrain brain circuits involved in fear, habit, and threat detection. The approach involves gradually and safely confronting feared thoughts, situations, or sensations (exposures) while resisting the urge to engage in compulsive behaviors (response prevention). Over time, this helps reduce anxiety, improve cognitive flexibility, and support long-term brain and behavioral change.
