What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I am a very passionate and dedicated clinical psychologist and will actively listen to my clients with genuine care. During the initial session, my client can expect a thorough intake and historical mental health review. I would want to know what the client's goals and expectations are from coming to therapy. If the client has received therapeutic interventions in the past I would like to know what has worked and what therapeutic approaches did not work for my client. The client will always be treated with: RESPECT ACTIVE LISTENING SUPPORT NON JUDGEMENTAL SAFE PLACE HONESTY EMPOWERMENT AND ENCOURAGEMENT
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
As a provider, I strive to build a very strong therapeutic alliance with clients and provide improved patient outcomes. I am a very empathetic listener as I genuinely actively listen to my patients. I believe that collaborative communication builds a strong foundation and I communicate very effectively with the patient and their treatment interdisciplinary team usually resulting in streamlined seamless delivery of care. I continually, actively attend continuing education seminars and am adept at utilizing the latest research and evidence-based interventions which ensue in the effective delivery of comprehensive care for my clients.
