Hello. I am dedicated to providing a compassionate and supportive space for your personal growth and well-being. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and integrating person-centered techniques, i collaborate with you to explore challenges, reframe negative thought patterns and develop practical skills for coping and resilience. Together, we work towards achieving your therapeutic goals, improve understanding of yourself and the world around you, and promote positive change leading to a better outlook on life.
The first session will lay the groundwork for the course of therapy. There will be introductions regarding the therapist, client, and the therapy process. We will establish expectations, boundaries, fees, confidentiality, and safety plans. We may have opportunities to share information to better understand the primary needs, background information and current mental health status including overall assessment of well-being, symptoms, problems, and coping mechanisms in place.
Clients and other professionals have shared that I am able to provide a safe space for individuals to work on building self-confidence while experiencing high vulnerability. I am able to tailor plans to various needs and provide compassion for individuals from diverse backgrounds and complex circumstances. My clients find support, guidance and personal growth throughout the therapeutic process.
In every life stage, there are individuals who are highly interested in self-exploration and gaining insights into challenging patterns of thinking or circumstances. Those who are facing life transitions, relational challenges and major life decisions often find success in therapy as it aids in optimizing their ability to navigate stress and lead to advancing well into their future.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the foundational approach that leads to a systematic use of communication strategies, coping skills, mindfulness, insights, and a deep dive into life's challenges one step at a time. No judgement. A CBT therapist provides opportunity to grow in a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and how they influence each other. The work that goes into therapy has helped countless others transform automatic negative thoughts and self limiting beliefs into positive changes, thoughtful restructuring, and a healthier outlook on life.
