Hello, and welcome. I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for helping adults (ages 18–65) navigate life’s emotional and mental health challenges with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care. With 7 years of experience in mental health, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse clinical settings, which has equipped me to provide thoughtful, personalized treatment for a wide range of conditions—including anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and insomnia. I specialize in both medication management and psychotherapy, offering an integrative approach that supports healing from multiple angles. Whether you’re seeking stability, clarity, or growth, I’m here to partner with you every step of the way. I am licensed to practice in California, Nevada, and Washington, and currently offer care through telepsychiatry for your convenience and privacy. My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take charge of your mental wellness.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

As a thoughtful and patient provider, I prioritize creating a respectful and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing your story—at your own pace and in your own words. During our first session, I will listen carefully and attentively to understand your unique mental health challenges without judgment. The initial psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive process designed to ensure an accurate diagnosis. We will review your history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments you’ve tried. Together, we will discuss treatment options, and you will play an active role in shaping your personalized care plan. My goal is to collaborate with you openly and transparently, so you feel informed, supported, and empowered every step of the way.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I provide specialized care for a wide range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and insomnia. My comprehensive approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring compassionate and effective treatment across diverse challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults ages 18 to 65 who are navigating a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, ADHD, insomnia, schizophrenia, and schizoaffective disorder. My ideal clients are those who are ready to engage in a collaborative, compassionate treatment process that supports both stability and personal growth. Whether you're managing a chronic condition or facing a new challenge, I provide evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. Please note: I do not prescribe benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Ativan, clonazepam, or Valium). However, I will work closely with you to create a safe and effective treatment plan using alternative strategies that support long-term wellness and reduce the risk of dependency. My goal is to help you feel empowered, informed, and supported as we work together toward better mental health.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In a fast-paced, often overwhelming world, mindfulness offers a powerful path back to calm, clarity, and emotional strength. I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques into my treatment approach to help you reconnect with yourself, manage stress, and create a deeper sense of peace and purpose. Mindfulness is more than meditation—it's about learning to slow down, become more aware of your thoughts and feelings, and respond with compassion rather than reactivity. It’s a simple yet transformative practice that helps you feel more grounded, centered, and in control of your life. Here’s how mindfulness works in our sessions: Present-Moment Awareness: You’ll learn to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment, reducing overwhelm and emotional reactivity. Breath and Body Connection: We’ll use breathing techniques, grounding exercises, and body awareness to calm the nervous system and increase emotional resilience. Gentle Exploration: Mindfulness allows you to face difficult emotions with kindness and curiosity, instead of avoidance or self-criticism. Integrating Mind and Body: Whether combined with medication support or used alongside therapy, mindfulness enhances healing on both a mental and physical level. Patients often tell me that mindfulness has helped them feel more present, less anxious, and more in tune with themselves—and I’d love to help you experience that transformation too.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

If you’re feeling stuck in cycles of worry, sadness, or self-doubt, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help you break free and move forward with clarity and confidence. I use CBT because it’s a highly effective, research-based approach that empowers you to understand your thoughts, shift your perspective, and create lasting emotional change. In our work together, I’ll guide you to: Recognize unhelpful thought patterns that may be fueling anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem. Learn practical tools to challenge and reframe these thoughts in healthier, more supportive ways. Build emotional resilience by changing how you respond to stress, triggers, and difficult situations. Take meaningful action through personalized goals and strategies that lead to real improvements in your daily life. CBT is collaborative, structured, and focused on results—but always grounded in compassion. Many of my patients say they feel more in control, less overwhelmed, and more hopeful after just a few sessions. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, ADHD, or life stress, I’ll help you develop the insight and skills to move forward—one step, one thought, and one win at a time.
