My passion as a psychologist is to provide a safe environment to talk about your feelings. You know the things you’ve been running from and have now caught up with you, so instead of hissing and wildly scratching at shadows like that of a rabid stray cat cornered in an alley, you can talk with me. I want to reach as many people as I can to help lead them to the good stuff: self-love, peace and grace. Then eventually, “Embrace the unknown.”

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Admit that they are ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime and bask in the ever-nourishing light of self-love.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My practice exists because of several brilliant people who came before me that answered the call of the Hero’s Journey. When my call came, just like all the greats, I ignored it for years and propelled myself into everything else. Once I had enough of running and denying myself peace, love, grace (the god stuff) I surrendered to this as my vocation. My values remain the same, if you don’t love yourself more than you both fear and hate yourself how can you ever expect anything to work out?

My treatment methods

Psychodynamic

I am both a clinical and depth psychologist; therefore, I know the value of empirically validated interventions, as well as the importance of accessing one's unconscious in psychotherapy is imperative to healing one’s psyche. If your therapist is not doing this then you’ll be in therapy forever with the same issues on a different day. Great for the therapist; bad for you. Why? Because they are doing nothing to address repressed material, underlying issues, the actual source of your distress which has surfaced as addiction, depression, codependence, anxiety, low self-esteem, narcissism, relationship issues, etc.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Everything starts with how we think, the language we use, and what we believe about ourselves. There's a simple equation to help understand CBT - Thoughts + Emotions = Behaviors. See, simple! Think negative, feel negative, and behave negative; visa versa with positive. But what gets lost is the need to understand where, when and why we learned to believe our negative thoughts. Using a psychodynamic approach will assist with getting to the root of your personal beliefs and then make lasting change in your life. So, you can trust I will address the root cause and help you rip it out of your unconscious so that you will definitely know the immensely rewarding power of true confidence, true independence, and true self-love.
