New to Grow
Hello!!! I’m Nadia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support. My background consist of working with teens, young adults, adults, and older adults experiencing different levels of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance dependency and trauma. I’ve worked in outpatient settings such as treatment centers with individuals experiencing drug and alcohol dependency, the homeless population and now currently working with veterans. I focus on building strong rapport while also helping clients develop practical coping strategies.
Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment during our first session. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your current concerns, challenges, and goals. I will ask questions about your background, relationships, and overall well-being to better understand your unique experiences. Together, we will identify areas of focus and begin developing a plan that aligns with your needs and goals. My priority is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin the therapeutic process.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered. I believe that each person is the expert on their own life, and with guidance and support clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Task centered approach, trauma informed care, and mindfulness techniques, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. What stands out about my approach is my focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients develop practical skills they can use in everyday life. I work alongside clients to identify patterns that may be contributing to their challenges, increase self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and create realistic strategies for change. My goal is not only to help clients manage current concerns but also to empower them with tools that support long-term emotional well-being, personal growth, and healthier relationships. Clients often appreciate my compassionate, genuine, and goal-oriented style, which helps them feel supported while making meaningful progress. https://www.psychologytoday.com/profile/1736725
