I empower those who have suffered from anxiety and depression, traumas, and personal struggles of self-love. I enjoy working with older teens and adults who want to develop insight into themselves, and actively participate in the healing work of therapy. We'll use a whole-self approach to explore the needs of your mind, body and spirit. Transmuting our pain can be difficult work and I aim to provide support to you throughout our time together on your path to healing and integrating your experiences into empowerment. In our first session, we will begin with brief introductions and discuss informed consent, confidentiality, and policies. Then we will dive into the specific concerns that are creating challenges in your life. This will help us to collaborate on treatment goals and areas of need.
My biggest strength in my therapeutic approach is simply my empathy. I believe that everyone deserves to be seen and heard and that every person's story is significant. I am a strong advocate of improving your relationship with yourself, reducing risky or harmful behaviors, and finding self-love and empowerment in the struggles you've endured through life. I believe wholeheartedly that you deserve to live your happiest and healthiest life!
I enjoy working with clients who are committed to developing insight to challenge current stressors and limiting beliefs. Clients will benefit most from treatment by collaboratively developing goals and remaining open to exploring tools and skills to gain back a sense of control in various areas of life.
I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support Clients in identifying, challenging, and transforming self-limiting and negative core beliefs and traumatic experiences. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment approach combining emotional and cognitive processing with somatic processing to deepen the adaptive healing response into the body's nervous system, resulting in positive growth, reducing the impact of triggers, and developing emotional and physical wellbeing.

I'm so lucky to have found Jessica. She is patient, kind, funny and open minded. She knows how to challenge me to grow in a way that feels like it's because she cares and not because its just her job. I can be open and honest about things that I wouldn't usually tell anyone and know that i'm not being judged. Overall Im just sincerely happy to have met her.
