Hello, I am a licensed clinical psychologist. I have 25 years of experience working various therapeutic settings including psychiatric hospitals, community clinics, and private practice. I consider myself to be an attachment-based therapist, however, I use a variety of theories in my work with clients including CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy. I currently support my clients in meeting their therapeutic goals and improving their life experience.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first sessions I will help you explore your goals for therapy and create a treatment plan unique to your needs. I will continue to provide a safe environment for you to explore your feelings and express yourself. I will support you as you process your emotions and develop an effective narrative.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have over 25 years of experience in mental health which allows me to be open-minded and understanding. I approach our work with an open-mind and understand that acknowledging and processing emotions can be overwhelming. I am straight-forward in my approach to treatment, however, I support my clients with practicality and warmth. I believe in supporting my client's inherent strengths and enjoy witnessing the positive changes they make to their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with women who are looking for support with life transitions including pregnancy, post-partum, relationships, and identity exploration. I have experience working with women struggling with depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma. I love supporting clients improve as they improve their self-esteem, self-concept and meet their potential.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I consider myself an attachment-based therapist. I use attachment theory to help clients explore their relationships with themselves and others and use the information they find to improve their interpersonal experiences.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use the theory of DBT to help clients improve their ability to regulate their emotions and improve their interpersonal effectiveness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify the thoughts and behaviors that affect their day-to-day lives. Using CBT-based skills will help client change their perspective and engage in thought patterns and behaviors that are more beneficial.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I enjoy helping clients meeting short-term goals by using solution focused brief treatment. I help clients identify their goals and create a personalized plan to meet them.
