(she/her)
On the outside, it may look like you've "got it figured out", but on the inside, you may feel stuck and confused about how to keep going. Hi, I'm Rosario and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Bay Area, CA. I’m really glad you’re here. As a bilingual mental health professional, I bring a culturally grounded and compassionate approach to therapy that centers on you. My role is to support you in working through the challenges you’re facing, whether that’s related to stress, relationships, mental health, life transitions, trauma, or anything else you want to explore. I'm dedicated to helping you heal, grow, and reclaim your inner strength.
During our first session, you will see this is a space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, without fear of judgment. I want to make sure you feel heard, respected, and in control of your process. We will get to know each other and set the stage for what we can expect throughout our work together. I am on your team, so don't worry about having it all figured out; we will figure it out together. You can expect us to discuss your priorities, current challenges troubling you, and some of your most relevant history. Therapy isn't about having all the answers; it's about discovering your voice, your truth, and your path. I'm here to hold space for that process, rooted in both professional guidance and cultural sensitivity.
I prioritize creating a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine human connection, not clinical or distant, but compassionate, curious, and open. I meet you where you are, and I follow your lead. That means I listen deeply, reflect what I hear, and ask thoughtful questions to help you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I’ll gently challenge you when it’s helpful, but always with empathy and care. As a team, we will clarify your goals, and work together to understand the patterns, beliefs, and barriers that may be getting in the way. I draw on evidence-based practices, cultural awareness, and your own inner strengths to support meaningful, sustainable growth. Ultimately, I bring the tools and guidance necessary, and you bring your own unique experiences, values, and voice. Together, we’ll build a path toward the change you want to see in your life.
Much of my work centers around supporting first-generation individuals of all ages, clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, and younger adults navigating the complexities of identity, transitions, and belonging. As a Latinx therapist, I understand how layered these experiences can be and how they affect your identity and life journey. My clients are eager to find a safe space that allows them to validate their experiences and improve their life. We will use your dreams and goals to envision and motivate you to create meaningful change.
