Every life is a story. We are each the hero of our own story. Daily we are faced with challenges and decisions. Some of us are better at navigating the challenges and making thoughtful decisions than others. My role, as a therapist, is to support those who need it to navigate challenges that may seem daunting. I want to help you identify and access the tools that allow you to live life heroically, and in a way that is wholesome and healthy. It is a role that I am passionate about. My approach is person-centered and collaborative. I will work with you to create individualized goals, and will diligently engage with you as you pursue them. I am a graduate of the University of Southern California. In my spare time and for self-care, I enjoy traveling, reading biographies, music, and anything related to history.
Our first session will include brief introductions and then we will discuss the issue(s) that are bringing you to therapy. I will gather historical/background information that helps me get a better understanding of who you are. We will identify treatment goals.
My biggest strength is in taking a collaborative approach to therapy. I see each individual as the expert in his/her/their own life, and my role is one of helping you get to a place of emotional and mental wellness. I believe in you and your ability not only to survive challenges but to thrive despite them.
