Hi! I am a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with four years of experience, committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for individuals to navigate life’s challenges and foster positive change. My expertise spans a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and parenting problems. My primary role is to support you by creating a secure space where you can freely process your thoughts and emotions. Together, we will explore and develop healthier coping skills to enhance your well-being and overall quality of life. Thank you for considering me as a partner in your journey towards personal growth and resilience.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial sessions, we will explore the reasons for seeking therapy, identify presenting problems, explore what your needs are, and establish your treatment goals. Throughout our evolving sessions, we will explore in collaboration the best strategies and coping tools to help you achieve your unique goals and make meaningful changes in your life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am grateful to be on this journey with you, not only as a therapist but also as an individual healing from anxiety myself. My approach is warm and rooted in empathy and self-compassion. I firmly believe that change happens when we are open to guidance, which helps us draw from our innate strengths and exist as our truest selves.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am passionate about working with young adults and adults undergoing life transitions. My clients are eager to learn and grow but may feel stuck, burnout, overwhelmed, confused, and anxious about managing their distress. They often lack the necessary tools to achieve their goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients gain a better understanding of their inner world through their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Noticing a thought rather than trying to stop yourself from thinking it will help us learn ways to tolerate unpleasant feelings rather than avoiding them. I guide clients in identifying limiting and irrational beliefs and restate into healthier ones to modify behaviors. Techniques employed also include relaxation, confronting fears, developing coping skills and enhancing self confidence. I have used this treatment method in my practice for to treat clients struggling with anxiety and depression.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help my clients manage intense emotions and curbing unhelpful behaviors. Together, we learn ways to balance acceptance of who you are and your challenges, and acknowledge the need for change. Techniques employed include mindfulness, self soothing activities, healthy communication and boundary setting.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I used Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help clients focus on the present moment rather than reacting to thoughts and feelings. We work together to develop ways to connect with yourself in a compassionate manner when you start to feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts. Techniques employed include routine meditation with mindful breathing movement-based exercises, and journaling.
