Hi, my name is Elizabeth Iaquinto, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Central California. I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling from Brandman University and have been practicing for 5 years. I specialize in helping those that struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues by working on utilizing coping skills to better their every day lives and relationships.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, prioritizing the establishment of rapport and providing empathetic understanding, validation, and supportive reflection. I believe in creating a safe and understanding environment that fosters growth and empowerment for my clients. I want my clients to feel supported in every session. My client's sessions is a place for them to come and communicate their needs and a place to work on their desired goals.
Having worked with a wide range of individuals, I ensure that each client's therapeutic journey is specific to themselves. I work with each client to set up their own goals and work with them throughout this process to continue to monitor their goals and adjust their treatment as needed based on their own observations to complete and achieve client's therapeutic goals.
I enjoy working teens and young adults who are looking to better improve their coping skills in their everyday lives. My clients are interested in improving their relationships and are wanting to better themselves but just need a little bit of support. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious trying to manage their emotions and feelings in their every day lives (school, friends, family, etc.).
I enjoy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to help my clients navigate their unique challenges.
