I have been a therapist since 2018 and a social worker since 2012. Throughout my career, I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, including families, previously incarcerated individuals, and the elderly. In my practice, I often help clients manage emotions related to life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for everyone I work with.
During the first session, my goal is to get to know you. I want to understand what brings you to therapy, if there was a pivotal moment that prompted you to seek help, your past experiences with therapy, and your goals for our sessions.
My biggest strengths as a provider are my listening skills, my ability to reframe situations, and my strength for recognizing patterns.
I enjoy working with clients who are unafraid to express their emotions and have a sense of accountability for their actions. I appreciate individuals who are willing to explore patterns and are open to being creative with the healing process.
I believe everyone needs support at some point in their life. Therapy offers a safe space to speak with someone who can validate your feelings and provide diverse perspectives. Support encompasses not only holding space for your emotions but also offering new perspectives, gentle challenges, exploring patterns, and providing coping skills.
