Welcome! I'm so glad that you're here. If you've ever felt "stuck," or that you don't have a next step or a sense of direction, I hear you. Life can be extremely unpredictable, and it can cause us to feel like we're not prepared or equipped to handle the ebbs and flows of life. Not only do we have present life events, but we also have our past experiences and extraneous factors that are on this walk with us. So, where do we go from here? How can we feel like ourselves again? Let's work together to create a space free of judgment. You deserve a healing space and the chance to create one within yourself. We'll work on permitting ourselves to experience our feelings fully and completely. And to get the most out of our life while we have it. I'm so excited to meet you and walk with you on your journey!
Our initial focus is to learn more about you and what you'd like to get out of our time together. We'll discuss your expectations for therapy and if we feel that this is a good fit to continue. From there, we'll create reachable/attainable goals that are clinically appropriate for your personal growth.

I utilize DBT in my treatment when individuals experience their emotions very intensely. Validation and emotional regulation are some of my key focuses. Our goal is to be able to experience our emotions fully and to learn how to self-soothe when feeling overwhelmed or uncomfortable.
CBT is utilized in my treatment to help identify automatic thought patterns and to decrease negative self-talk. This treatment can be used for individuals that experience depression or anxiety.
