As a California Licensed Psychiatric Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) my role is to diagnose and treat a diverse array of psychiatric ailments. With over seven years of experience in acute inpatient psychiatric hospitals, my approach to treatment is founded upon the principles of a collaborative team dynamic. My priority lies in alleviating suffering, enhancing resilience, and fostering long-term mental well-being for each patient under my care.
Clients can expect to have a honest open conversation about their concerns and feel comfortable to share their expectations. Starting off we will discuss past psychiatric history, current symptoms and concerns, discuss diagnostic assessment, and formulate medication treatment options that best suit client. At any point if the client wishes to change medication, I am always willing to try alternative options and help navigate decision with other options.
Treating everyone with respect and as equals is something I strive to achieve. It's important that my clients feel heard from their provider, and are able to openly speak up about their concerns. My goal is to create a healthy environment where everyone feels comfortable. Mental health can be a scary and uncomfortable topic to discuss, my job is to make that process feel safe and seamless. Clients know themselves the best, and I believe in a team based approach, therefore I am here to help navigate your mental health from a teammate framework.
Clients that are ready to make changes in their life will receive the best outcomes. This can be applied in many areas of life. I will do my best to serve all who I encounter and promote open communication about how best I may serve you.
