Hello and hola! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California, holding a Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College. With almost 8 years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I assist individuals with anxiety and depression symptoms by targeting cognitive distortions and support individuals with developing appropriate coping strategies. My background includes working with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, I have experience working in a correctional facility.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll kick off with introductions and go through the assessments and forms you completed, including a biopsychosocial assessment meant to help me get to know you better. You'll have the chance to open up about the challenges you're facing or have faced. This will lay the groundwork for us to work together crafting a treatment plan and setting goals!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I find that my strengths really shine in building a strong and genuine connection with you, where you're the expert in your own life. My friendly demeanor helps create a safe and welcoming space. While we have a plan for our next sessions, I'm flexible and can shift our focus to address any immediate needs that are more pressing than our previous discussions. Let's get started!

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I take pleasure in working with individuals who are prepared to take the necessary steps to enact the changes they aspire to make but have encountered obstacles in doing so. I have a knack for connecting with individuals who are "thinky," which are people who respond well to cognitive-specific approaches. It's where we can really dive into the cognitive aspects of anxiety and depression, which will set the stage for the behavioral changes you want to achieve!

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for about 8 years now. It's been incredible to see how clients can change their thinking patterns by exploring how thoughts and feelings affect their behaviors. These techniques have really helped people manage their anxiety and depression symptoms. I'm here to help you address and navigate any challenges or stressors you're experiencing using this therapeutic approach. Let's work together to make a positive difference!

I really feel like her approach fits me perfectly. I feel like she really sees me, and understands how I think so she knows how to walk me through everything.
