Hi my name is Mylan (Me-lawn) Allen. I approach therapy with authenticity and curiosity using person centered and cognitive based therapeutic modalities. My clients develop a deeper sense of self and understanding of their environment when working with me. I help my clients build their resilience by learning to challenge their thoughts, identify their feelings and recognize patterns and behaviors.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session we go over your informed consent, your expectations for therapy and also how we will work together on the concerns that brought you to therapy. We will build a trusting relationship and I hope you will leave the first session feeling seen, understood and confident in our therapeutic alliance.

she is very funny and a very good therapist I would definitely recommended her because she is very funny and very direct and has you evluate what she talked about and has you tell her how you feel and I think that is very important when it comes to therapy and I’ve never had that .
