I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/therapist dedicated to helping individuals build resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections. With over four years of experience in social work, I blend empathy, active listening and evidence - based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to guide clients toward healing and personal growth. My work is grounded in advocacy, empowerment and community building and I work towards creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, discover strengths, and move toward lasting change. I believe in the power of connection and compassion as essential tools for transformation, both in therapy and in life.
I want to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. I would like you to let me know what brings you here and together, we can create therapeutic goals. I will ask questions about your background, challenges you may be experiencing and different topics you may want to focus on. We will also discuss expectations (confidentiality, scheduling) and any questions/concerns you will want to address. After our first session, my hope is that you leave with clarity and feel seen, supported and hopeful.
I have many years of experience working with people who will benefit from evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Critical Race Theory (CRT) and mindfulness. My approach is grounded in collaboration, empathy and empowerment. I strive to create an environment where people feel seen - without feeling judged.
I am welcoming people who are wanting to heal, grow and reconnect with themselves. My ideal clients are those who feel emotionally drained, stuck in unhealthy cycles or feel disconnected from things that are important to them. Many may feel anxious in relationships, overwhelmed by life transitions, or unsure how to balance o caring for others while caring for themselves. Together, we will create a space where you can slow down, breathe and process feelings. Using a blend of mindfulness, strength-based approaches and CBT, I can support with building self awareness, confidence and self-compassion. These techniques can be useful for building self esteem, fostering positive relationships and navigating through difficult emotions. We can work together towards growth in our sessions!
