Hi, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Duquesne University and then Marywood University. As a counselor/therapist I work with adults as they navigate the anxieties of life and relationships. I help people identify and assess the thinking/thoughts that bother them and interrupt their relationships with their family or at work. I have studied and used different therapeutic approaches to support persons at different stages of growth. I am not accepting couples at this time.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2018, providing mental health and behavioral counseling services. My work is grounded in the belief that every individual has a unique life story, and our present experiences are often shaped by what we've encountered in the past. I also believe that our thoughts and behaviors influence how we engage in relationships and perceive the world around us.
I approach therapy with a deep respect for each person's cultural background and life experiences, maintaining a strong commitment to multicultural awareness and sensitivity. My therapeutic style is integrative and client-centered—I believe that you are the expert on your life. Together, we’ll explore patterns of behavior and uncover the core beliefs that may be contributing to current challenges. My role is to support and guide you with empathy and encouragement, helping to build self-awareness and make sense of past experiences.
Mental health is a journey. Feeling lost now doesn’t define your future. It takes courage and strength to pursue a more meaningful and fulfilling life. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you—offering support, encouragement, and empowerment every step of the way.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addiction Counselor licensed in both Texas and Louisiana, and I’ve spent over a decade helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments. I began my work in 2007 at a chemical dependency organization, where I saw firsthand how meaningful support can change lives. I work with individuals facing addiction, anxiety, depression, and overwhelming stress, and I believe healing happens best in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, focused on helping you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move toward lasting, positive change.
I have been passionate about mental health from a young age! I started working toward my career at Texas A&M University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2013. I went on to pursue my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University and graduated in 2015. I have experience working with all ages as a grief counselor, career counselor, children's counselor, school counselor, and a general counselor for individuals and couples. Additionally, I have a background in education as a former teacher and school counselor.
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Texas, Georgia and Florida. I am deeply committed to facilitating transformative journeys for individuals seeking to transition from a state of emotional or psychological distress to one characterized by resilience and empowerment. By fostering a collaborative and supportive therapeutic environment, I strive to empower my clients to overcome challenges, break free from limitations, and embrace the opportunity to live boldly and authentically.

Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest parts of starting therapy. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy can be a space to slow down, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and gain a different perspective on the challenges you’re facing.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My style is warm, conversational, and thoughtfully questioning. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I’ll help you explore your thoughts, recognize patterns, make connections, and identify practical steps that feel realistic for your life.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, build effective coping skills, identify solutions, and work toward meaningful goals. Because no two people have the same experiences or needs, treatment is collaborative and individualized to you.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply recognizing that something in your life needs to change, you don’t have to work through it alone. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but reaching this point means you’ve already started. Let’s take the next step together.
I have been found to be very effective working with individuals that present with persistent mental illness to impaired professionals including lawyers, pilots, entrepreneurs and other high-achieving individuals who are experiencing difficulty managing their careers and relationships due to dual diagnosis, psychiatric disorder, demands of stress and all types of addictions. With several years of inpatient experience, I am known for being able to identify and treat the real problem. Let's work together, you can feel better!
I have several years working in different capacities of Behavioral health treatment facilities. I am a certified interventionist with experience getting those suffering the treatment they deserve.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to explore my page. You are making the right decision! My name is Amia Taylor, and I am an experienced clinician who enjoys working with people of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds. I have expertise in supporting those with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I aim to create a therapeutic space that allows for genuine authenticity and healing by tailoring sessions to each client. Take the first step towards empowerment, understanding, and peace of mind by scheduling a consultation to connect and see if I am a good fit for you. I lead with a compassionate, trauma-informed, strength-based, and person-centered approach.
Outside the therapy space, I enjoy arts and crafts, aromatherapy (especially a great-smelling candle!), and laughing with loved ones.
Hello, I am Sandra Ventura and I am a Licenced Professional Counselor. I would like you to know that I love the work I do and I'd like to be part of your support system. I know how hard it is to reach out for help when you are going "through it", because I have been there. I know it is hard to find a professional that will listen to your concerns and not talk about theirs because I have been there too. I want you to know that is not how I operate. I am a straight shooter, I don't waste time, and I do not mislead my clients. I don't have a magic pill or a silver bullet to make all your concerns go away. I do have extensive professional experience working with a broad range of problems and seeing people get better. I treat adjustment disorders, trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, and work-related issues to name a few. I use evidence-based techniques and strategies to get you back on top of your game fast. I work with a wide and diverse population and I am familiar with a broad range of cultures and lifestyles. I am fluent in Spanish. I invite you to consider working with me and take me along on your journey to a better you.

Shelena is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She has worked in the field of mental health for 10 years and in private practice for the past 5 years. She has experience working with individuals, couples, and families. She received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She loves working with individuals to help them reframe negative thinking and behaviors. She utilizes treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Reality Therapy. She believes that given the right tools we all can become the best version of ourselves.
Trauma hurts. It can be sudden, life-altering and overwhelming, or chronic, subtle and nearly unnoticeable, but either way it can change the way we think about others, the world, and unfortunately, ourselves. Dealing with the aftermath—changes in our relationships, lashing out toward self or others, feeling nothing and/or everything all at once—is sometimes as hard as the initial event, especially when society, friends and family and our own minds tell us to “just get over it.” Worse, sometimes we aren’t even sure where the trauma came from in the first place, leaving us confused and even feeling hopeless. If you could just “get over it,” you would, but sometimes the brain simply cannot process traumatic events without help, and this is why trauma therapy exists. :)
I'm an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in Texas. I've been in practice for nearly 15 years and have been doing EMDR therapy for 13 of those. I specialize in helping teens and adults process trauma of all kinds. My goal is to help my clients gain the skills needed to process and adapt to traumatic memories, and then allow them to do so in a safe environment. I teach them how to build boundaries and follow through, and to treat themselves with self-compassion rather than judgment and harsh expectations.
Trauma doesn’t have to ruin (or run) your life. If you’re hurting, please know I’d be happy to help in any way I can.

I am an optimist that has worked in the mental health and substance use space since 2007 as both a clinician and music therapist. Most battles are won and lost before they are ever fought because our thoughts drive our feelings and affect our behaviors. The challenge becomes mastering our thought process. Figuring out "who" we are is more useful than "why" we are so important in our journey to overcoming challenges, being resilient and becoming who we want to be. I thoroughly enjoy exploring and cultivating holistic coping strategies and firmly believe everything is better with music and chocolate.
I am a bi-lingual and bi-cultural Licensed Certified Social Worker who received her Masters in Social Work from Boston College. Nearly 20 years later, it is still a privilege to work with individuals, couples in various stages or phases of their relationship and families of all sizes.
I’m often looking for "the funny" in the moment and the world around me. I greatly enjoy sarcasm, snark, and satire. I'm fairly casual but have been told I "Clean up well", and clients have told me in the past they appreciate that I do not come across as "stuffy".
I daydream of going on cruises with my wife, occasionally think about bringing our children along. I treasure a long nap in a hammock, and I love movies. Once upon a time I even submitted a short film to the Cannes Film Festival (wasn't selected) but I did enter.
Clinically, I work with a foundation of Solution Focus and Systemic Therapy, with attributes of Narrative, Structural and/or Strategic.
*** I do not provide animal support letters or ESA documentation, disability-related paperwork, and fit for work evaluation documentation. Hi there! Welcome and thank you for stopping by! I am an experienced child, adolescent, and adult counselor, dedicated to helping my clients cope with anxiety, depression, anger, grief, PTSD, and stress. I have been practicing in the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor for 5 years. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a client and therapist is pivotal for healing to occur. Feel free to reach out, whether you have questions, concerns, or are ready to take the next step toward your holistic healing and personal growth. I'm here to help!
Do you feel like you have a lot on your mind but don’t know where to put it? Maybe you’ve become used to keeping things to yourself, questioning whether your feelings are “important enough” to talk about, or trying to handle everything on your own. You may know something needs to change, but aren’t quite sure where to start.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating. My goal is to make that step feel a little easier.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can slow down, be heard, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we can work through it together.
My approach is primarily rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping you recognize patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and develop healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. I also incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help you manage stress, stay grounded, and become more aware of what you need in the moment.
Therapy is not about having someone tell you what to do. It’s about having a space where you can better understand yourself, work through what has been weighing on you, and develop tools that feel realistic for your life.
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in negative thought patterns, struggling with stress, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of control over how you respond to life’s challenges.
Reaching out can be the hardest part. You’ve already taken an important step by considering therapy.
**I will not be able to evaluate for disability, custody or court-related documents.

I have always had the conscious goal of supporting others with being able to overcome their hardships and internal challenges that prevents them from being successful. I am a firm believer that in life we have all experienced some type of challenge that will impact our thoughts and emotions. For some people the challenge is more difficult than others and they will experience greater hardship and internal challenges that will send them on a spiral to the unknown. Being a therapist has always been a desire of mine to support others with understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors associated with how they feel.
Hello, my name is Mandi Lynn, and I am a Clinical Therapist located in Southwest Michigan. I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Social Work from Western Michigan University, and I have been practicing as a Clinical Therapist for 14 years. I specialize in working with children, families, and adults in all walks of life. It is my desire to help children, families, and adults identify and celebrate their strengths, while building and reinforcing healthy familial and interpersonal relationships.
My goal as your Clinician is to help you overcome past trauma and/or current life stressors, build your strengths and coping skills, and advocate for you in any way I can. I am honored by the clients who have entrusted me to walk with them through their mental health journey, and look forward to working with you in the future.
I’m a therapist who believes healing happens through compassion, honesty, and collaboration. My style is supportive yet practical—I help clients explore their struggles while also developing concrete skills to move forward. I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and together we create a safe space to uncover strengths, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. I have a passion for helping others and it has become my purpose in my life. I believe that prioritizing your mental health is crucial for leading a healthy and fulfilling life.
