I worked in HIV services in central Pennsylvania and the Bronx, New York in the 2000s before completing PhD course work and candidacy at The Ohio State University College of Social Work. Post PhD candidacy, I have been providing counseling services and mental health treatment and established a private practice in 2018. I enjoy working with kids, teens and adults to be helpful with addressing mental health challenges and finding effective strategies for improving quality of life. I have extensive experience in treating trauma, depression and anxiety, among other mental health challenges. I proudly support LGBQTIA+ and neurodiverse individuals and communities.

Hello! I have always enjoyed helping others for as long as I can remember as early as age 9. I love to see their responses in the learning process. I have experienced trauma, witnessed violence, anxiety, have been in an unhealthy alcoholic relationship and have been a sensitive being my entire life not understanding why.
My saving Grace has always been movement. I loved the way it made me feel-free and calm, and movement has always been part of my life even during 4 pregnancies and keeping up with my 4 children, and now my grandchildren. Over time, I was introduced to mindfulness, stress reduction and relaxation (which I didn’t realized how much I needed) and Yoga. This allowed me to calm my mind and focus.
My career goal was Physical Education teaching and when I graduated (after have 4 children), teacher jobs were scarce. I was introduced to Behavioral Health and here I am now, 25 years later.
