(she/her)
Hello! Welcome to my virtual practice, where I offer you a warm and welcoming environment. Together we will work through your life's challenges & find ways for you to cope with stress and find enjoyment in everyday things. My goal is for you to feel empowered to handle your life with greater confidence, ease, and a sense of security. I am a licensed clinical social worker with 27 years of experience, and a passion for helping people live their best lives!
My goal for the first session is for you to feel safe and comfortable to express yourself and share what you feel is important for me to know about you. I will ask some questions to get to know more about your history and what brings you to therapy. We will figure out a general course for working together, which will be fluid and open to change in order to best meet your needs. I want this to be a positive and supportive experience for you!
My high level of empathy is my greatest strength! I pride myself on being present for others, finding silver linings, being resourceful, serving as a trusted sounding board, and being consistent, patient, and supportive without overly sugarcoating hard truths. I'm very open-minded, creative, passionate, and realistic. I truly derive joy from helping people find the keys to their success, happiness, and greater self-understanding and ability to communicate with others.
Who I Help: I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with: đź’ Anxiety, depression, and stress management đź’ Neurodiversity-related challenges (ADHD, Autism, and Executive Functioning difficulties) đź’ Life transitions, career shifts, and self-discovery đź’ Overcoming self-doubt, perfectionism, and limiting beliefs
With 27 years of hands-on experience in mental health and neurodiversity services, I specialize in helping individuals break free from limiting beliefs, rewire their negative thought patterns, and build lives that feel happier, more secure and authentic to who they truly are. I work with people to develop healthy boundaries, realistic expectations and goals, and to set the stage in motion to achieve their best lives.
I don't believe in cookie-cutter type therapy. For people who want to do more of a deep dive into their inner thoughts, we can work on mindfulness strategies to help you align with the highest version of yourself so that you feel connected and centered in mind, body, and spirit.
