Hello. My name is John Petkac and I have been providing psychotherapy services for over 29 years. In addition to clinical psychology, I have background and education in music education, philosophy, spirituality and religion. My background and life experience gives me an ability to see a larger picture of situations in life and offer unique resolutions to things that may be occuring.
I am a strong believer in the individual's ability to address and resolve their own issues. Through the process of therapy, we will explore what has been working for you and what has not. It is my belief and practice to treat the person, not the symptoms or the problem. We will work on building and adding to the skills you already possess to help you to build a more fulfilling life.
An integral part of this process is assisting you in an increased understanding and awareness of yourself. Personal growth involves seeing and making informed choices. Therein lies the importance of self-awareness - there is no choice where there is no awareness. Raising a level of self-awareness increases your ability to have and make choices.
Through exploration of these factors and possibly more, we will work toward a resolution that works for you and one that allows you to live a fuller and happier life.
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based out of Pennsylvania. I received my Masters from Holy Family University and have been practicing for 5 years. My passion is being able to empower clients to develop a positive sense of self, engage in healthy decision making skills, and watching my clients restore excitement and motivation for their future .
Licensed professional counselor with extensive experience specializing in attachment-based therapy and trauma-informed care. Skilled in helping individuals and families explore early relational bonds to foster secure, meaningful connections and promote emotional healing. Deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive therapeutic space that empowers clients to process unresolved trauma and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships. My own journey has been shaped by years of infertility, grief and loss, navigating being a new mom of twins, a NICU stay followed by other medical complexities. These experiences taught me the power of resilience, empathy, and genuine connection.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (PA & WV) with 10 years of experience in outpatient mental health. I specialize in supporting individuals — both adolescents and adults — navigating the aftermath of trauma, loss, adoption/foster care challenges, grief, anxiety, and depression. With children and teens, I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF‑CBT), integrating trauma‑informed strategies tailored to younger clients. With adults, I use trauma-informed interventions alongside cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adapting my approach to each person’s unique story, strengths, and pace.
Being adopted myself has deeply shaped my passion for adoption and foster care work — not just as a professional interest, but from lived experience. I understand the layers of identity, connection, loss, and belonging that come with these journeys, and I bring that insight to my practice with empathy and sensitivity.
I also maintain ongoing training in areas such as grief work, anxiety, depression, and relational dynamics to ensure I’m bringing current practices to our work.

I believe in the saying, “If you give a man a fish he eats for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime.” I teach techniques that can be implemented to overcome current hurdles and are also transferrable to be used in the future as needs arise.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to meet them where they are and learn their goals and aspirations so that we can develop a plan together to overcome obstacles. I have experience and enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. My work is focused on helping individuals and families that are struggling with mood and learning disorders, anxiety, trauma, and other challenges.
I primarily practice psychodynamic techniques, and also incorporate CBT, mindfulness, trauma focused, Family Dynamics, Family Systems, and other modalities as appropriate.
I have diverse experience working with children, families, and adults across settings including schools, homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, family court and juvenile justice systems, as well as those involved with DHS, foster care, and the adoption process.
Working with individuals & families experiencing and living with health challenges and/or disabilities is of particular interest to me.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about people—their inner worlds, their relationships, and their capacity for growth. Before entering the field, I found myself drawn again and again to conversations that went beneath the surface. During my training, I was especially moved by work with individuals navigating complex relational histories, identity questions, and emotional overwhelm. I saw how transformative it could be to have someone really listen—to not just problem-solve, but to bear witness with care. That experience deepened my commitment to relational and psychodynamic therapy, and to creating spaces where healing can happen through insight, connection, and trust. What continues to motivate me is seeing clients uncover strength, hope, or clarity they didn’t realize was there. I believe in therapy not just as a space to “fix” something, but as a way to reconnect with yourself and your agency in the world.
I am the mother to 2 grown children and a grandmother. I was married for over 40 years prior to my husband passing, I now share my house with a Golden Retriever.
I went back to school later in life, and like to encourage others to do the same if possible.
My first experience in this field came when I got a job at a county mental health/developmental services program as a receptionist. I was motivated by all the great work that the caseworkers were doing to improve their clients lives. I went back to school to finish my Bachelors and finally received a Masters in Social work. I retired from the county program as a Casework Supervisor, I felt that my position was becoming more administrative, and I was missing the connections I had made with my clients.
At that time I felt it was time to work on what my original goal was which was to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I did work for 5 years with children with behavioral issues in school and in their homes.
My previous position was in a small practice in rural PA, where I learned the importance of being eclectic in my treatment approach because every clent and their situation is different , and they deserve to have a treatment plan specifically targeted to their situation
I have over a decade of experience working with people as they navigate life transitions. I understand struggling and feeling overwhelmed, and believe that adding support and guidance can help alleviate life's stressors.
I've worked multiple years as a therapist in a community mental health center, a partial hospitalization program, and a nursing home. I try to understand where you are starting and where you are trying to go. I believe that there is value in humor, storytelling, and understanding different perspectives.
At this time, I am not accepting couples clients.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) specializing in Medical Family Therapy and Trauma-informed practices, I offer a supportive, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental virtual space for individuals, couples, and families. My approach is grounded in Intergenerational Family Systems Theory, exploring how family dynamics and systemic factors shape your well-being and relationships.
I also integrate evidence-based models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support meaningful and practical change. In our first session, we’ll collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses your unique concerns, whether you're navigating the challenges of a blended family, coping with trauma or grief, or working through the early years of marriage.
With experience across outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, and community-based settings, I’m committed to trauma-informed care that honors cultural identity, systemic influences, and life transitions. I also warmly welcome military members, veterans, and their families who are seeking psychotherapy support. My goal is to help you identify patterns, build on strengths, and develop tools for healthier relationships and emotional resilience.
Please note that clients experiencing active suicidal or homicidal thoughts, self-harm, substance abuse or addiction, domestic violence, eating disorders or disordered eating, or those involved in any legal issues, including custody disputes, will be referred to a higher level of care or in-person therapy for appropriate, specialized support.
Together, we’ll work toward your goals in a way that feels collaborative, safe, and attuned to your lived experience.

My name is Kim Ring and I have had the opportunity to work in many different settings in the mental health field, such as outpatient, inpatient, drug and alcohol rehabs, and home-based work. Because of my vast experience I have worked with many types of clients where I have gained invaluable experience. I have worked with clients struggling with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, life adjustment issues, grief and loss and parenting issues. I believe that in order to help clients we need to put a mirror to them and be honest about what might be holding them back. Sometimes people just need support and someone to help them navigate a difficult time. I look forward to meeting you.
I would describe my style as validating, supportive, and down to earth. Clients often share that they feel comfortable being their authentic selves with me, which is one of my highest priorities in the therapy space. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience, creating a balance of humility and wisdom. While I don’t claim to know everything, I work hard to share what I’ve learned while remaining open and collaborative.

Welcome! My name is Dru Bleem. I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I have 10+ years of experience in the counseling field. I am currently certified as a Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist and a Certified Professional Trauma Specialist. I work with ages 5 and up in person and via telehealth. Ideally, I prefer to see the children in person as I feel that I can utilize play therapy more effectively in the office. The modality I use is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which focuses on thoughts, feelings, and our behaviors. I am non traditional in the sense that I recognize not one approach to therapy works for everyone and I don't always need to be sitting in my chair to provide effective counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and have been working in the field for five years. I have a master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling/Therapy, so it is not uncommon for me to provide family and couple's therapy in addition to individual therapy. I treat a number of disorders and issues including but not limited to: ADHD, anger, anxiety, autism, behavioral disorders, depression, family difficulties, OCD, PTSD and other trauma disorders, relationship difficulties, and social anxiety. I am an EMDRIA certified therapist practicing EMDR. EMDR is helpful, especially for individuals with a history of trauma or other experiences found distressing, as it helps people change the way the brain has stored the traumatic or distressing memory so that it no longer has the same negative impact on the individual. I aim to build a strong therapeutic rapport with clients as this is beneficial to treatment and, often, helps expedite treatment. I take into account the unique experience of each individual and offer a safe space free of judgement for clients to feel heard.

I understand how much courage it takes to reach out for support, and I strive to make therapy a place where you feel safe, understood, and free from judgment.
My work is rooted in trauma‑informed care, emphasizing safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. I recognize the impact that trauma can have on the nervous system, relationships, and daily functioning, and I approach each session with sensitivity, attunement, and respect for your lived experience. As a creative arts therapist, I also integrate music and other expressive modalities when helpful—offering additional pathways for emotional processing, self‑expression, and insight, especially when words alone feel limiting.
I believe healing begins with a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship, and I am committed to listening deeply and communicating with compassion and honesty. My approach focuses on empowering you with the tools, insight, and emotional skills you need to navigate life more effectively and with greater confidence
