hat drew me to a career in therapy was a deep desire to support women carrying the invisible weight of trauma, emotional wounds, and survival. I exclusively work with women ages 30 and older navigating Complex PTSD, childhood trauma, emotional neglect, abusive relationships, complicated relationships with parents, family dysfunction, and generational trauma. Many women I work with have spent years in survival mode—people-pleasing, emotionally overwhelmed, hypervigilant, disconnected from themselves, and struggling with deep feelings of shame or unworthiness rooted in early experiences.
I believe trauma does not only impact thoughts and emotions; it also affects the nervous system and the body. Chronic trauma can leave the nervous system stuck in patterns of fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown, making it difficult to feel safe, connected, emotionally regulated, or fully present. The vagus nerve plays an important role in how we experience safety, emotional regulation, and connection within relationships. Much of my work focuses on helping women understand how trauma has impacted their nervous system while creating space for healing and regulation to occur both emotionally and physically.
I integrate Brainspotting, IFS-informed therapy, Empty Chair work, and Person-Centered approaches to support deeper emotional processing and reconnection with the self. Healing is not simply about coping—it is about reclaiming your voice, rebuilding trust within yourself, setting healthy boundaries, and breaking generational cycles. My goal is to create a compassionate, supportive space where women feel deeply seen, understood, empowered, and no longer defined by the trauma they have endured.

I believe Irvin Yalom said it best when he said we need to form a unique therapy for every person. We are all unique, our relationships and experiences are unique, and in therapy we need to find your own path forward in life. We can find that as a conversation between two experts, you being the expert in your own life, and me being an expert in this field. Together, we can work to help you find what you are looking for in therapy. Whether it is a skill and action motivated plan, or a space to emotionally process things regularly, or anything in between.

You feel the the "weight of the world" pushing down on you. You're tired. You're tired of being tired. You are ready to reclaim your life. You are ready to make a change!

Whether there has been a significant loss, a life transition, relational conflict, or daily stressors, we all need support during difficult times. Sometimes, however, a trained professional can help navigate these challenges and assist in facilitating positive change. We aren’t always able to recognize the underlying cause of our discomfort or find ways to overcome life’s challenges. In a therapeutic setting, we will work together to discover healthier ways for you to deal with life’s struggles, make desired changes, improve relationships, and find inner healing.
Seeking therapy can be viewed as an investment in yourself. Improving mental and emotional health is as important as one’s physical health. My role is to provide a safe space and come alongside you on your journey.

Many of my clients are high-functioning and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. Together, we slow things down, make sense of patterns, and build practical tools that actually fit your real life.
My approach integrates emotion-focused work, strengths-based perspective, psychoeducation, and motivational interviewing. That means we’ll explore both the “why” behind your experiences and the “how” of moving forward. I value clarity and transparency in therapy — I’ll help you understand what we’re doing and why, while keeping the process grounded and collaborative.
Clients often describe me as calm, thoughtful, and direct in a supportive way. I’m not here to tell you what to do — I’m here to help you better understand yourself, strengthen your confidence, and move toward the life and relationships you want.

I’m Breanne, a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping individuals heal, grow, and create meaningful change in their lives. I hold a degree in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University where I built the foundation for the work I do today. Throughout my career, I’ve supported clients navigating a wide range of challenges. The therapeutic relationship is personal for every individual. The idea of sharing your story to someone can feel scary and overwhelming but can also feel relieving and hopeful. If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, phase of life changes, or just need a safe space to process life stressors, therapy can be a positive step in creating change in your life. The challenging part can be finding a therapist that you can trust and is a good fit. Feeling comfortable with your therapist is essential to making progress.
I approach therapy as a partnership and provide counseling from a trauma informed and strengths based perspective. I have been a practicing clinician since 2012 helping clients from various backgrounds identify goals that are important to them and have been fortunate to witness many of them achieve their goals.
Hello. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been practicing for over 20 years. I work with adults, couples, and families including children, and adolescents. My goal is to work with each person individually from a person-centered perspective. I want you to feel that you are in control of your progress by identifying your needs and focusing on your strengths . My specialties include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, behavioral challenges, post-partum depression, parenting, chronic illness, and grief. I am available to see clients in Kentucky in-person or telehealth, and Michigan or Minnesota via telehealth.
The person centered approach means that the client is the center of everything from the initial assessment, to the development of the goals, to the treatment that is provided. It is important that you know you are accepted and with therapy you are able to address the concerns you have and learn to effectively work through them.
I understand therapy can feel uncomfortable and the thought of sharing yourself with someone you don't know (yet) can be overwhelming. Give me a call and we can talk for an initial conversation to see if it will be a good fit.
